OR, it could be they're waiting to at least have conversation with the perps family before they go public.............

And as a side note, the perp was black, it was a black neighborhood and the officers shot were black........NOT ROP...........

No, it appears to have been just a thug wanting to kill some cops. I read that he was also somehow involved in a double homicide case.
