This is amazing! What I mean is; just last week everyone was saying that he was ahead and the election was his to lose. Even Bill Clinton came to town to campaign for him. What gives?

According to the UPDATE in this article, "the state supreme court is expected to be even less-friendly to Rahm than was the appellate".

So, he'll have to settle for Sec. of Defense or something back in the Regime.

It'll suck if poor Rahm has to without a gummint paycheck.

He may have to go back to ballet dancing.

What is this country coming to?

If he doesn’t get a quick reversal, it’s over. He and his campaign are now considered a dry hole, and nobody is going to pour more money into it.

I don't know whether a former Presidential Chief of Staff should be disqualified from running for Chicago mob boss mayor under Rahm's circumstances, but it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

These people would have no lives if they weren't constantly seeking power to control people.

Take the Clintons for instance.

No worries...he'll get his MSM buddies to do a propoganda job on how "retarded" the appellate court is to sway the supremes.

Oh, but Dems have to be "civil" now, don't they?

This is an unintended consequence of the recent revival of the birth certificate, or birthgate of Obamma. The courts won’t take a shot at the king, so they are going to be especially rough on his roundtable of lapdogs.

The further he gets away from Chicago and Cook County the less they have “control” over the judges. The Illinois Supreme Court will see the election rules the way they are written, but the way Cook County Board of Elections interpreted them. No Rahm No!

Perhaps Rahm will feel better if they explain that his chances were aborted.
If his name was already on the ballot it can be called a partially birthed and aborted campaign

Until I read this headline. It actually made me laugh until I cried again.

Why a 2:1 decision at the appellate level? Is the law written so poorly that three astute judges can’t agree as to what the law actually says? Or, are the three judges so inept that they can’t read a simple law and all agree as to the meaning and intent of the law? Or is at least one judge so corrupt that he’ll read whatever he wants into the law.
