She can speak for me. We are not undertaxed. Maybe you misunderstood her words.
She is an actual wise latina.

I think you misunderstand, Susana is very much against raising taxes to close the state defecit. She cut cabinet secretary salaries, and reduced the expenses at the Gov’s residence over 55% compared to Richardson.

The more I hear about this lady, the more I like her. I was contracting at a fairly large petroleum company in SE New Mexico a few weeks back when she shut down the State EIB. The employees (every one I worked with a conservative) were ready to throw a party.

Methinks this is not the sort of Latina the liberals were talking about when they promoted multiculturalism.
Get some!

Oooops.
I appear to have mis-read the first part of her statement.
I will now correct my previous correction by stating: I Agree 100%!

Thanks for posting. The LA Times has a full copy of her "State of the State" address at the link.
A couple of things about her personally. She has an older sister who is developmentally disabled with a mental age of five; she was taking care of her in Las Cruces after her mother died and has had to make other arrangements now that she is governor, which is hard on her. Before and after becoming DA of Dona Ana County, she prosecuted many cases of physical and sexual child abuse.
She is pro-life, pro-second amendment (she carries; was an armed security guard at 17 in El Paso), wants to repeal illegals driver's licenses, will miss shopping at Albertson's Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, doing fix-ups, at her house, gardening, etc. Was endorsed by Sarah Palin and won election with 53% of the vote in a heavily Democratic state. She does not tout her Hispanic heritage or gender but instead says her election was due to her education and work ethic.

No kidding, man, excuse the pun.
These ladies (Nikki Haley, Michele Bachmann, Sarah, Marsha Blackburn, the cowgirl from South Dakota-—sorry, her name escapes me) are going to rebuild the Republican Party from the ground (where all the men now grovel) up.
Get the pussies out of the way, the women are here!
