She does not tout her Hispanic heritage or gender but instead says her election was due to her education and work ethic.

I can tell you her ethnicity had zero to do with my vote for her one way or the other! It was her demonstrated work ethic and her stand on the issues that are important. In other words, I'm a racist.

I could afford to buy another house with the taxes withheld from my paycheck each month. The same as the one I’m currently living in.

She is in very good and respected company.

She is pro-life, pro-second amendment (she carries; was an armed security guard at 17 in El Paso), wants to repeal illegals driver's licenses, will miss shopping at Albertson's Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, doing fix-ups, at her house, gardening, etc. Was endorsed by Sarah Palin and won election with 53% of the vote in a heavily Democratic state.

I think I'm in love...

Nah, just kidding (Mrs. Backwoods would not be amused), but it's good to have conservatives at the helm of states.

The Hell you say Gov! I’m paying enough in taxes to fund the budget of a Third World country!
