Abercrombe is a committed socialist (communist). That would make it quite likely that he knew Stanley Ann Dunham through the socialist/communist network then in place in Hawaii. Remember, his recollection of having seem BHO playing T-ball or something like it must have taken place in about 1966 or 1967, when the anti-Vietnam War (communist) movement was really getting cranked up. Presumably because he knew little Barry's parents. The more interesting question is why, given he knew Barry's parents (note plural), he has no recollection of Barry as an infant. But, of course, all the evidence suggests they split up right around the time Barry was born, and Stanley Ann moved back to the mainland.

Call me crazy but I don’t think they had T ball in the early 60’s. Seems to me that came into being in the 80’s as our culture became more feminized.
