Fayetteville Mayor Tony Chavonne decided to "honor" the Vietnam Vets by reaching out to Quaker House, an anti-Vietnam war protesting outfit. And Quaker House said they are glad to participate and intend to show two anti-war films that include Jane Fonda. As in "Hanoi Jane." This is how they plan to "honor Vietnam vets."

This is disgusting!
I don’t think this is going to go over well with real Viet Vets. The posers will love it though. This could get ugly.
disgusting
The politicians in this Country will be slapping us Vietnam Vets in the face until they put us in the ground. That’s because we stand for all they want to forget about. All we can hope for is that when we get to the other side St Peter is a Vietnam Vet himself.

Since the lefties now say that anti-war protesters never actually spat on or assaulted returning vets (all a myth ya know), maybe the mayor just wants to give his pinko heroes another shot at it.
> I dont think this is going to go over well with real Viet Vets.
As a Vietnam vet who has watched buddies die, anything with Hanoi Jane or Hanoi John Kerry is abhorant. If someone wants to show a film about Vietnam then show “Good Morning Vietnam” or “Hamburger Hill” or “The Green Berets”.
No
I think Mayor Chavonne needes a good, sound Freeping!
I just sent the link to Drudge...hope he runs with it and hyumiliates this douche bag.
It will become the most frequented open air urinal on earth!!
Fonda wasn’t simply “anti-war”.
She aided and abetted the enemy and is responsible for the deaths of multiple POWs.
(When dissed, she suggested “Somebody ought to teach him some manners.” That POW was latter found with a sword buried up to the hilt, up his rectum.)
“protester”?
Hardly......
BTTT
There will certainly be no grass growing over that urinal.
Hanoi Jane... I hope this whore has a long, slow, lonely and painful death with plenty of time to remember all of those boys she spat upon and endangered and the wonderful America that gave her so much, but which she hates.
If you think that is disgusting, you should see the GI Bill provisions for Nam era vet EMs... Is perhaps the smallest ever, Korea vets fare better.
They really hated us and evidentally still do.
I don’t wish such an end to another American, but I will smile when I read her obit.
