Now that the left's McCarthyite attack on Sarah Palin has subsided, she merely has to suffer the disdain of the intellectual elite. Even James Taranto, admitted high-school dropout, damns her with faint praise.

'American Thinker' needs to use the correct term: not the lame and insulting "McCarthyite" but Blood Libel.
They knew it the first time they saw her.
It's why they go insane ever time they think of her.
Anybody who wanted to put forth just a little effort would know that.
Ann Coulter documented it very well in one of her books, not that the left would believe anything she wrote, no matter how well documented, it meets their agenda to shriek McCarthyism, as if that should be an insult.
I'd be proud to wear the label,'McCarthyite'.
Shouldn't that read, "know their name"? Why eliminate 50% of the population?
Although she hasn't declared yet I could vote for this one.
Shannon Bream (Subs for Bret Baier sometimes, smart as a wip and conservative. Doesn't hurt that she got her law degree from FSU.)
It should read, "...know his or her name."
She is smart! I do enjoy it when she sits in for Brett Baier.
But if we’re talking about *one* name, the pronoun should be singular. It’s convention to go with the masculine he, but to say know ‘their’ name is incorrect. “We’d better know his or her name by the summer of 2012.” It’s too much for me. I heard the soft tinkle of Palin’s titanium testicles when she strode across the stage to eviscerate Joe Biden. I’m OK with anybody referring to her as a male.
Great article, and great comments afterwards at American Thinker.
“They know she’s inevitable. They knew it the first time they saw her.”.............................. How many voted in 2008 because of her? How many thought; “Why is she on the bottom of the ticket?” She has been pounded since day one, non stop, and it is still going on. They know damn well that she may not be stoppable. If I had to roll the dice, I’d bet on Palin. I want to see her get into the face of Mr. er er er er without a prompter.
BTW, In a most recent conversation with a Liberal and Union member, he pointed out to me that Palin was too dumb to become a President because she has 5 kids and she should be taking care of them instead of thinking to run the country, and it took her 5 years to complete college. LOL, that from delinquent dad with a GED. There is no hope in trying to convince these people.
Blind people at least. Being male should equate to being brave, in a perfect world at least, but there are plenty of cowardly males. Look at some of the GOP Senate for example.
Not that you should defend her by bringing up anybody else’s academic qualifications, but just for you to know, Jimmah Carter also graduated in 5 years and 4 colleges. He got his degree from the United States Naval Academy, but he was not accepted there on several tries till he finally made it as a transfer student. Also, he then got a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Physics. And we all know what the empirical evidence is on his ‘smarts’.
I like the dig at Taranto, he deserved it. He’s into this weird moral equivalence thing lately.
“He was educated in the Plains public schools, attended Georgia Southwestern College and the Georgia Institute of Technology, and received a B.S. degree from the United States Naval Academy in 1946. In the Navy he became a submariner, serving in both the Atlantic and Pacific fleets and rising to the rank of lieutenant. Chosen by Admiral Hyman Rickover for the nuclear submarine program, he was assigned to Schenectady, N.Y., where he took graduate work at Union College in reactor technology and nuclear physics, and served as senior officer of the pre-commissioning crew of the Seawolf, the second nuclear submarine.”
Hmm, good to know! I read somewhere that he got a Master’s in it. Nice to have it debunked.
It was common for the MSM to push that bit of disinformation to go with their prevailing meme that their guys are all brilliant and our guys are all morons.
Carter was pointed to as a genius, a Nuclear Physicist, etc, etc. He was neither.
You are correct of course. My old high school english teacher Br. Aiden would have hit me up side the head!
