As the state of California continues to become more and more idiotic there will be fewer and fewer taxpayers. The result is that the other states will foot the bill.

I’ll miss the weather for sure — the last 2 weekends at home (I am in VA right now) were painfully beautiful, but when there are more people in the wagon than pulling it, that is time to bail.
I’ll miss my home state and city, but I won’t be extorted nor bullied. I will NOT apologize for working my butt off for the last 30+ years and having the AUDACITY to make a decent living. I certainly won’t be penalized for it while liberals sleep with the blissful (and wrong) feeling “I made FD pay for Jose’s entire family today! I am a GOOOOD person!”

Yes, but it is unlikely the portion of Americans who actually pay federal taxes will realize that - until they understand that more and more of their tax dollars are going right down the drain in fiscally irresponsible states.
1.6b to illegal aliens? How much in the coming years will those of us that have absolutely no control over CA politics be asked to pay?
How in the world can any obligation to pay those dollars be deemed lawful or patriotic?
