Obama's Plan to Admit Mexican Trucks by Phyllis Schlafly January 21, 2011

It is amazing that, with unemployment unacceptably high, the Obama Administration has endorsed a plan that will cost U.S. jobs and make highway driving for Americans more dangerous and less pleasant. Obama wants to admit Mexican trucks to drive on all U.S. highways and roads.

Todd Spencer, executive vice president of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, explained what this means: "U.S. truckers would be forced to forfeit their own economic opportunities while companies and drivers from Mexico, free from equivalent regulatory burdens, take over their traffic lanes." We wonder if Mexico has any regulatory standards at all.

They’d better. Bush tried to sneak that one by us, but thankfully we caught it.

Make the government richer, and the citizens dumber. A stoned society is easier to control than an armed one. Besides, the terrorists will have a big old rig to haul their weapons of mass destruction in.

Have sat on the sidelines for some time, but once in a while news like this make me scream ‘WTF!!!’ at this leadership.
Clearly the corruption runs deep.

Just more of the Free Trader Communist Globalist nonsense....the same Anti-American BS pushed by Jorge Boosh is being pushed by Barracka Julio Obama

I guess American trucks are too good to haul around all the Communist Chinese Crap coming in.

Not only will the Mexican trucks be hauling Communist Chinese crap...they will be hauling drugs, Illegal Aliens, hookers, coyotes, drug dealers, Mexican Army, Zetas, MS-13, etc....if, of course, they do not wreck their piece-of-caca trucks first

We have plenty of American truck drivers who can do the work...without the risks.

Obushma is worse on the border as Jorge Boosh

You don’t want to forget about those diseases. I’m mean, the country will have to be inoculated after another “epidemic”.

I assure you that Bush didn’t dream that one up. That tactical assault is an old one. I do believe the Trojans came up with it.

Good old Dubya, Mexico’s Man in the White House.
I think of him whenever I’m painting the graffiti off of my parent’s house.

A package of condoms came up with this idea!!???

/sarc

Actually, Bush implemented it for a trial period. I ended up behind a couple of Mexican trucks here in Texas, so it isn't a trial tactical assault. What ultimately ended the trial program was that the DOT declared Mexican trucks unsafe for American roads.

Free trade is necessary for a prosperous civilization.

Transportation is necessary for a free trade.

What a suck show of nitwitism.

And the farther you live from the border the less concerned you are about Mexican trucks.

When is enough enough! We might just as well call our country Mexica with the way things are going. Heck just put out the red carpet. When is this insanity ever going to stop! I fear so it will not.....imagine the truckloads of all kinds of alien matter coming here....this is all about uniting CAnada and Mexico and America as 'one block' of trade. One world governance on the fast track these days.
