Groan........
“There are some things a police officer, or any man with a sense of discretion(which a cop should have), which you do not make part of any record.”
Are you saying they should have lied about her age?
So let me see if I understand you. A cop should falsify official records if something about the crime would embarrass the perp.
Defense lawyers must LOVE you!
Now that would have been scary!
There is someone for everyone ya know. Things just may have not worked out the way the cop wanted? Maybe she wanted to introduce him to some switch-play? No cop carries a drunk woman into her bedroom for the purposes of being altruistic.
Dude, that IS Susan Estrich after her many facelifts...
Good thing it wasn’t a Steely Dan.
Best response of the day...
I have a friend who works as an EMS tech. When he is hauling granny out of her recliner or bed and granny's got Buzz Lightning next to her, some things you just don't need to say.
If the cop was worried about an assault, why was he carrying a drunk 52 year old woman into her bed? He should have arrested her for disorderly conduct and left it at that. That's why you take them to jail to sleep it off.
“a ‘clear, rigid feminine pleasure device’ “
Musta been written by a Zappa fan!
And yes, that is Susan Estridge.
At least we know this police report wasn’t written in California. A clear, rigid, feminine pleasure device, would be too vague and too gender specific.
An EMS technician is different from a cop. A cop MUST tell the truth, else the defense lawyer will tear him to bits on the witness stand. (Not that this stops all cops from lying, but still).
The standards for a sworn officer of the court are higher than for a first responder who can hide behind HIPAA laws.
Jury trial requests should come with a may cause blindness warning for this case.
What you can figure out form two lines:
(1) The officer found her drunk somewhere in public.
(2) The officer took her to her house.
(3) The officer entered her bedroom.
(4) She was surprised when he entered the bedroom.
(5) She threw something at the officer.
I don’t mean to state the obvious, but why did the police officer enter he bedroom in the first place?
She would have if the cops hadn't interrupted her.
I'm just sayin. I'd have a lot of questions for this guy if I were his superior/s. She could have just as easily had a gun in her dresser or under her pillow and shot the dumbass. He placed himself in an ethical, moral, legal, and mortal danger zone. It may be funny, but it could have been something else.
