You bet...A few good investigators had some long conversations with this guy, and the inconsistent statements must have become glaring.

Then the reports surfaced where he had personal connections with two of the female teachers at the school near where the event occurred.

Barney? I knew barney, and you’re no Barney, Irving!

(Well, finally Irving got three slugs in the belly.
It was right outside the Frontier Deli....)

He was short and fat, and rode out of the West
With a Mogen David on his silver vest.
He was mean and nasty right clear through,
Which was kinda weird, ‘cause he was yellow too.

They called him Irving.
Big Irving.
Big, short Irving.
Big, short, fat Irving.
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West.

He came from the old Bar Mitzvah spread,
With a 10-gallon yarmulke on his head.
He always followed his mother’s wishes,
Even on the range he used two sets of dishes.

Irving.
Big, fat Irving.
Big sissy Irving.
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West.

A hundred and forty-one could draw faster than he,
But Irving was looking for one forty-three.
Walked into Sol’s Saloon like a man insane,
And ordered three fingers of two cents plain.

Irving.
Big, fat Irving.
Big sport Irving.
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West.

The James Boys was comin’ on a train at first sun,
And the town said, “Irving, we need your gun.”
When that train pulled in at the break of dawn,
Irving’s gun was there, but Irving was gone.

Irving.
Big, fat Irving.
Big help, Irving.
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West.

Well, finally Irving got three slugs in the belly.
It was right outside the Frontier Deli.
He was sittin’ there twirlin’ his gun around,
And butterfingers Irving gunned himself down!

Irving.
Big, fat Irving.
Big dum-dum Irving.
Big dum-dum dead Irving.
The hundred and forty-second fastest gun in the West.
Really.

I am predicting what will happen

Ya, I read your prediction, "They'll draw out the "investigation" long enough for everyone to forget about it".

Your predictions are dead wrong.

This guy is toast. Even the police protective league spit on him in a statement, calling him disgusting. This whole event was just too big and embarrassing to ignore.

You bet....Only hard evidence and confidence would generate comments like that.

By the way, I hate to break it to you, but at this point, LAUSD is just a mere spectator.

I hate to butt in, (no, really), but I have an alternate prediction.

It’s this: he will be fired, and offered a plea deal. He’ll accept the felony, ending any future in LE, and accept a year and a day in the county hoosgow to avoid state time. He’ll serve the full sentence.

There was no cop shooter, except for the cop shooting himself...

Yeah, but this will still be logged in FBI crime stats as an officer shot in the line of duty due to gun violence. Despite the fact he was the shooter.

“...Did this guy hose up and shoot himself THEN cook up the story to try to hide his stupidity, or vice versa?...”

Or maybe, just maybe, he’s another “Useful Idiot” for the lefties, trying to drum up support for more gun control...”Oh look - another fallen Hero in Blue cut down by an evil GUNman....we need more laws outlawing guns!!”

I dunno....I think like that sometimes...maybe ‘cause THEY think like that most of the time, ya know...?

I put nothing past the libs any more.

The police response was massive. The incident prompted a manhunt that included 350 police and deputies, and the lockdown of nine different schools in the area.

Residents were unable to return to their homes and more than 9,000 LAUSD students were locked in the classrooms for hours without access to food or bathrooms.

the guy made it all up is one thing, this response is the real problem IMO...

total conditioning of everybody included to drop their lives...for an 'only one'...

i cant return to my home or pick my kid up from skuul??? really ???

Yes good point. Its insane that they wouldn’t let tje kids use the bathrooms. 9000 kids had to use buckets in the classroom closet. 350 cops, and they can’t secure the bathrooms?!

Actually, the Tea Party made him do it. All that hateful rhetoric made him want to shoot someone, and he was the only one available.

But what if they under-reacted?

It was reported the shooter might have headed into the school, and possibly entered a home near a school...

We've seen schools full of dead students before.

Can anyone imagine if they didn't secure the area, and create a secured containment area or perimeter, and the shooter took a classroom hostage and or neighbors in the immediate area hostage? A class room full of dead kids?

The cops would never hear the end of it, and they'd be a target for major lawsuits for 20 years.

This may interest you...

All the panic over this alleged school cop shooter....But there was no cop shooter, only a school cop looking for attention for what ever reason. He’s got plenty of attention now, but not the kind he wanted.

I think the point Gilbo was making is that instead of SOME ADULT male/males taking action and trying to possibly subdue the fictitious “shooter”, or better yet, an ARMED adult (they are, after all, responsible for the safety of hundreds of kids - at the “request” of the state - and instead, they lock down the place, and people go into “Sheep” mode - i.e., waiting to die unless help arrives. Suppose the Shooter is LOCKED INSIDE the building with all those kids? That scenario just gave him a captive audience for target practice.

In ANY situation, YOU are the First Responder - just you, and no one else - directly responsible for your OWN safety.

Am I recommending attacking someone with a gun in their hand? Well, in a word, if he’s going to kill you, he’s going to do it whether you lay on the floor and bleat, or whether you jump on him and sink your teeth into his face and your thumbs in his eyes in a last desperate attempt to stay alive and FIGHT BACK. And the more people that attack the shooter - with extreme violence, from all sides - the less carnage he can inflict.

The majority of people have been Pavlovianized since birth to accept violence until some “help” authoritarian figure arrives. This gets people killed.

The cops’ job is to draw the chalk line around your corpse, period, and solve the crime afterwards. He isn’t there at the moment the killing begins. You are, and it’s on you and those around to react as quickly, as violently, and as forcefully as you can while you still draw breath. If it’s going to be your last breath, what the hell do you have to lose by trying - you may actually save someone else in so doing.

Me? I’d rather not be the chalkee. I’m going to be armed, no matter what, no matter where. Don’t talk to me about “legal” vs “illegal” either. It’s illegal to murder people, yet it happens every day. Most people that get murdered die because they’re not paying attention to their surroundings, not picking up threat signals, and just plain not thinking - and they’re not armed to deal with a threat.

My life means more to me than some stupid law dreamed up by some little bureaucratic P*ssy who’s too stupid to spell his own name. I have people that depend on me, and, well, my philosophy is such that “This Unit Will Survive” - by the good grace of God, of course.

If we truly want to believe we are Free Men, then we each must live and act like it. And that means carrying and acepting the responsibily and the consequences of it, good or bad.

Acting like sheep, and teaching others to act like sheep, is NOT how free people behave. And we sure as Hell weren’t always this way. This has been DONE to us intentionally.

Imagine - the Virginia Tech shooter, shot dead by an armed student or teacher, 3.5 seconds after he drew and started shooting. Maybe he’d have only killed one or two poor kids by that time - INSTEAD of 33. One is a tragedy; thirty three is a CRIME on the heads of those who passed laws denying people the means to protect themselves.

And guess what? THEY didn’t go to jail. They’re still walking around, making law, and THEY’RE as responsible, to my mind, as the shooter, because they used the color of law to deprive good, decent folks of the right to protect themselvs. And those kids are still dead.

But no...we play by the rules. And because we do, people get slaughtered and die.

Sorry Dragnet, for the rant...but this is a Hale button, and it sets me off.

And as for this “cop” faking a shooting incident - there’s ZERO EXCUSE for a dirty cop. This asshole should be publically stripped of his badge, his gun, jis pension, and thrown in jail for thirty years as an example.
