of 10% unemployment, rising inflation, and $4 gasoline.
Joe Biden has a great gig.
He was here in town (Indianapolis) this week at an outfit that makes batteries for electric cars.
He flies in on his own jet, motorcades in a fleet of limos, stops and hands out a hundred million taxpayer bucks, everybody kisses his @ss, the local media swoons.
And over and over again.
I am unemployed, not eligible for unemployment benefits, so MR. VP, pay my bills.
If shown a graph of a supply and demand curve, Joe Biden wouldn’t be able to identify the point at which prices are set. He has already admitted that he gets a six-figure salary for a job where he doesn’t have to do anything, and it is obvious that by ‘anything’, it includes thinking as well. As another poster here once said, he is a one-bit brain with a parity error.
Hang in there. They have to get the military open acceptance policy enacted into official law in a couple of weeks when DADT is repealed and then the big surprise. Lottery draft young people eligible for selective service to go to the ME. Going all in I suspect at some point. Too much riding on us standing by and watching the oil center of the world fall into anarchy and ultimately enemy muslim religious state control. I’m not saying it will happen, but it could.
I've been there and done that and those who are going through it have my sincere empathy and daily prayers.
The truth is those jobs are never coming back, but no one has the guts to say it.
If the US was to see oil priced by the dollar at a value in excess of $300/bbl, there would be dramatic action taken militarily/socially/economically. The elites would parlay Obama’s muslim rep into something big, really big.
The repeal of DADT removes a very big excuse from serving for, surprisingly enough, a lot of straight guys as well as gays. Excuses are excuses when one doesn’t wish to serve. Offering amnesty to young hispanics who’ll serve is next up.
Images of Tom Sawyer with a picket fence to paint comes to mind. Don’t be so eager to be given the job unless you really want it.
We learned from the last great depression the only way out of a demand side depression is to get into a big stinking war. I guess it would be us and China racing to take as much territory as we could hold over there. It will involve China. Not Russia, Russia is a net exporter of commodities, esp O&G. China and the US are the monster consumers. We are the ones who will have the most to lose if the ME goes fundy and some sort of islamic republic can be formed ie a Caliphate.
One final thought on how we will emerge from this depression the same ole way. Interesting isn’t it to see how quickly events in Egypt ramped up after the Chinese Dictator came to the USA and sized up his adversary in the White House.
The Chinese are famous for going some place and then crazy stuff starting as soon as they leave. Nigeria comes to mind. The Chinese went into Nigeria, got pushback from the Anglo English establishment and immediately motorcycle gangs starting ambushing oil execs driving in and around the Lagos.
What Biden really meant was “Hang in there. In two years, obama, myself, and all of the Libs will be sent packing and the economy will start to improve.”
You hang in there Joe, Soros and his minions are taking notes on the events in Egypt.

Well kinda (getting into a war) we were basically brought into it via Pearl Harbor. Just wondering if Japan didn’t attack but just went their way in the Pacific. Would we have entered the war or just provide help to England.
Any Obamavilles (tent cities) popping up in vacant lots yet?
