Because bacon is one- to two-thirds fat and also has lots of protein, it speaks to our evolutionary quest for calories,

What does she feed her cat? All vegetarians have cats. Cat need almost 100% meat diets.

If bacon is the crack cocaine of the meat groups, Canadian bacon is the crystal meth.

Even though it supposedly has a higher pedigree, I see Canadian bacon as spam with a superiority complex.

My husband went boar hunting in Texas and came back with four. He said that the boar population is getting out of control and they are moving north. They apparently are aggressive and have killed animals; like dogs. I think we should popular the whole US with hogs and we will get rid of our terrorist problem.

Disgusting...an extruded meat product without the texture or heady succulence of cured pork belly.

Bacon - the candy of meats.

For those with service members deployed overseas, may I suggest:

Tactical Bacon

You've taken your first step into a much larger universe.

That is a great point. Never thought of that. My sister-in-law is a veggie and they have four cats. Thanks for the material to needle her ;’)
