Recently, an old friend who's been a vegetarian for more than 15 years shocked us with a story: Last weekend, she ate bacon. Several strips. Straight out of the frying pan where her boyfriend was cooking it.
This wasn't the first time she'd encountered it sizzling there, in all its glistening glory. But for some reason, this time it overpowered her. She was guilty yet gleeful when she told us that she'd allowed bacon back into her life.

Because bacon is one- to two-thirds fat and also has lots of protein, it speaks to our evolutionary quest for calories,

What does she feed her cat? All vegetarians have cats. Cat need almost 100% meat diets.

My husband went boar hunting in Texas and came back with four. He said that the boar population is getting out of control and they are moving north. They apparently are aggressive and have killed animals; like dogs. I think we should popular the whole US with hogs and we will get rid of our terrorist problem.

That is a great point. Never thought of that. My sister-in-law is a veggie and they have four cats. Thanks for the material to needle her ;’)
