The Dutch government has frozen all contacts with Iran in protest over the hanging of a Dutch-Iranian woman.
The Dutch foreign ministry said it was "shocked, shattered by this act by a barbaric regime".
Sahra Bahrami, aged 46, was hanged for drug smuggling early on Saturday, Iranian officials said.
Her family accuses Tehran of fabricating the case against her after she was detained for taking part in anti-government protests in 2009.

I have no problem with hanging drug smugglers, but with a regime like Iran’s, how can you have any confidence in a verdict?
I think the death penalty for drugs is appropriate. I wish in Europe (I am European) we would hang drug dealers.They cause more harm to people than anything else, in my opinion.
My dream is to move to the states, when Hussein is no longer president.

I have serious doubts that she was a drug smuggler, since she was arrested at the time of the demonstrations. Drug smuggling, dealing & trafficking are the labels that the regime uses falsely all the time.
I have noticed that in the EUSSR they can tolerate anything except morality and Christianity.

I understand that a ruling council was set up by the EU Parliament who are NOT even elected. I guess they know they can’t even count on the sheeple to keep voting for them. Just how bad do they plan to get that they don’t even trust the sheeple that put the EU into power in the first place??
I doubt that she was a drug dealer. This is a very easy charge to fabricate. She was obviously a political enemy of the current Iranian regime and had connections in Europe, so she had to go.
Iran has possibly the highest incidence of heroin use in the entire Middle East, and government officials actually make money on this trade.
It seems like it's intent on isolating itself from every country on the planet.
If the Iranians killed in her Holland then the Dutch would be busy making all kinds of excuses for them.
Note to Dutch: Don’t worry about Iran.Time to deport the Muslims in your country!

Oh, that’s right: they’ve legalized drug use - that explains a lot, really.
Once upon a time, the Dutch were a hard-working, effective people.
