Communists took them over 4 years ago, they went full hog for Wind and Solar Power and “Green renewable” energy. They also spent like drunken fools and squandered their treasury in belief that you CAN spend your way into lasting prosperity because Social/economic justice (redistribution of wealth) is what generates Wealth and economic health!

I remember thinking during the bailout mania of 2008 that Spain’s bailout plan was the dumbest in the world. They spent billions buying only “healthy” assets, as if leaving nothing but distressed assets on the banks’ books was going to revive their financial system.
Looks like that worked out about as well as could be expected.
