I can’t wrap my mind around the idea that an unnatural act of massacre requiring the intervention of morally derelict monsters is somehow less traumatic than the NATURAL act of creating life.

You have to understand that for some people the idea of having to feed, care for, and think about anything other than themselves is traumatic; in that way the contention is probably correct.

It is unbelievable, isn't it?

Science, like all fields of endeavor, has it's share of charlatans, clowns and downright criminals. This "study" obviously got "results" that the authors intended.
