The Tea Party movement will be two years old in February! Weve stunned the establishment once, imagine what we can do with the next 40 years!
Join us February 25-27, 2011 - the second anniversary of the Nationwide Tea Party Protests.
Help write the first pages of a new chapter in American history at the American Policy Summit - Pathways to Liberty.
We believe it is every citizens duty to defend Americas founding principles. Thats why one of the Tea Party Patriots goals is to gain the support of 60% of American citizens for the three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets. It has taken the country a long time to get where we are. Now is the time to equip future generations to turn things aroundto make wise decisions in elections, exercise their civic duties, and be active and educated about government.
To achieve this goal, we will focus on reforming five key areas in American life, known as the Pathways to Liberty
Who else will be there?
Tea Party Patriots American Policy Summit will bring together leading experts, scholars, and political heavyweights. We cant reveal the speaker line-up yet, but when you hear who will be joining us - youll be really glad you have a seat. All presentations and break out sessions will focus on at least one aspect of the Pathways to Liberty. Participants will be armed with specific tools to translate rhetoric into lasting reform.

I’ll be there. Are you coming?
We are having one of these June 30, July 1-2 at the Convention Center in Columbus, OH. Then again in at the same 4th of July Weekend in 2012. We will draw from a huge area surrounding OH. Many TEA parties involved.
Who is the main sponsor, or is it a grassroots effort?
Grass roots. All TEA Parties in the area of OH, WV, MI, KY,IN, and anyone who wants to help. Four groups initially began the idea and secured the Convention Center through providential help. For some unknown reason the Center had been unable to fill that weekend. They had tried everything, but nobody wanted that time. At first they wanted the TPs to pay for 1,000 hotel reservations up front. To which the TP replied, “Are you kidding”? Later the Center called the TP and said, “It’s yours with no upfront, and if you take it this year, you can have it on the same weekend next year”. Providence? They claim they have never had a problem with booking that special 4th of July weekend.
I'm always leery of Meckler and Martin, as they have a real desire to be seen as leaders of the TPM and have co-opted other tea party events, plus taken credit for tea parties they had nothing to do with the organization of.
And have a program where they are trying to raise large amounts of money, much that will go to them.
Dick Armey has done a lot also, but is an inside the beltway kind of guy.
Everyone on the national scene needs to be watched very carefully.
Your evens seem to be downhome grassroots, and it's great that you got such an awesome spot to hold them with no promises of bringing them great gobs of money.
They seem smart enough to know that it will be monetarily beneficial to them.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, we’ll keep our eyes open. We have one guy who lives in Marietta, OH who reminds me of Glenn Beck. He is a real talker and funny. He’s also like the energizer bunny. He’s a true believer in America’s founding Constitution.
