Johnny’s putting alot of faith in the existence of ‘structure’ after Hosni gets shown the door.
Lets see. The ‘structure’ I see includes persecution of Christains...and Americans (the hordes of Americans trying to escape seem to agree with me), movement of all kinds of nasty people and weapons into Gaza, collapse of Egyptian tourism, collapse of canal fees, continued looting, spiraling unemployement, an influx of bad guys that would make Mel Brooks proud, and a state visit by Imanutjob within 6 months.
We supported Hosni for 30 years. What has he done that has suddenly changed our opinion of him? We have known that he was a dictator, but accepted that flaw, in the name of regional stability. Now, like a light switch, we are all on the Democracy in Egypt Express?
Tell him he’s old, and that his support from the USA will expire in September. He can announce he won’t run for re-election, the riots will stop, and we’ll at least have a fighting chance at not getting Iran 2.0...and Christains, Jews, Americans, et al. who don’t particularly want to participate in Iran 2.0 have a few months to leave. This shi’ite from Kerry is going to set up a ‘fall of Saigon’ scenario, and get people butchered.

Soooo, Kerry is all for violence from a certain group being a sole reason to handover power? Really? Think he ought to rethink that a bit? I don’t want to see that happen here, but if the US accepts a group of folks throwing a big fat temper tantrum as a reason to support an overthrowing of a government... well, they had better feel the same when it’s their job and power on the line. Extremists of the Muslim Brotherhood type are making their foothold here in the US as well. Just look at Chicago!
