At the Kansas Missouri border; visibility about 250 yards, high wind, heavy drifting snow, probably about 8 inches fallen so far, hard to know, its blowing all over the place. Traffic passing by at 10 to 15 mph, lots of stuck cars and cars that cant climb the hills (I pushed out 2, dug out 1 on the way home from work.) Very bad conditions, and we are just on the edge of this storm. Worse in Central Missouri.

I remember the January and February storms...get a liitle ice cover on the streets just before the snow comes ...often.!

Here in Shawnee area Pete. My fire hydrant just disappeared. How tall are those things? Unrelenting wind just roaring through here. Looks like 12 inches so far on my deck; but hard to tell with all the drifting due to the winds. Sometimes I can see across the street, sometimes I can’t. Bitter cold wind. Hard to close a door once it is opened.
