CNN's Anderson Cooper and his camera crew were attacked and repeatedly punched by pro-government forces near Tahrir Square in Cairo today. [Updated with video]
"My team were set upon by the crowd," Cooper said on CNN this morning via telephone from the safety of a hotel balcony. "There was no rhyme or reason to itit was just people looking for a fight, looking to make a point, and punching us." According to a Twitter post from George Hale, the English editor of the Ma'an news agency, who cited a CNN "manager," Cooper was punched "10 times in the head."

I watched the video very carefully specifically to spot Anderson Cooper somewhere in the video which I in fact did.
For those, like myself, aching for a "Rocky" type flurry of punches, blood gushing down Anderson Cooper's bludgeoned face, forget it.
For the first 1:07 there's nothing to see other than men pushing, shoving ,shouting, a very palpable sense of fury coming from the mob, sounds of body blows are heard, frightening grunt noises.
The first indication that it was him indeed who is getting part of the comeuppance he deserves, when you hear at a male voice at 1:06 or say, saying, "Calm down! Calm down!" followed by an American accented voice saying "Inshallah"! "Inshalllah"! (God Willing) going murky again when you finally get to actually see, recognize his face at about 1:27. What surprised me most of all is that at 1:27 when Anderson first appears he seems in good spirits, doing a rope-a-dope dance of sorts, backing away, then abruptly rushing forward, exhorting his attackers to. "Come back!" "Come back!"
While the video of the attack ends of 1:50 the video cuts to the newsroom last until 3:48. Bear in mind that this was broadcast yesterday in the morning soon after the attack occurred.
I heard they kneed him in the mini cooper too
Oh boo hoo hoo. Poor little investigative report just doin’ his job to get the truth out there to the masses...and the awful street people pushed him and called him names...oh boo hoo....lol
And this is bad why?
I watch it to see him get a thumpin for calling the American citizenry the vulgar homosexual term ‘teabaggers’ and laughing when others did, and for calling American citizens Islamaphobes...
Yep musta been a Tea Partier thumpin him in the head. angry white mobs wasn’t it???
What if the USA (Obama) set all this (uprising) in motion?
Michael Savage is setting the stage for this right now on his radio program.
His manuscript is on his website.
You must read this
He is staging these things isn’t he?
Attack 33? yea right
And the Tea Party are terrorists...
I reckon folks who quote Twitter need to be punched "10 times in the head."
lol
I have no doubt Obama is up to his ears in this mess. Mubarak is figuring out too.
Staged, lights, camera, action......
Punched ten times in the head. Oh my! he can’t afford to lose any more brain cells.
ROFL!
Good read. As a student of the NWO for 30 years this all fits. The goal is to separate the world in to Seven Regions. Maybe this is a move to create the region of the middle east. Israel must be eliminated for it to be harmonious as well as the autocratic regimes. Does any of this click?
How does he know the thugs are Pro-Mubarak?
Considering George Soros has said that Israel is the only thing standing in the way of democracy in the Middle East- I’d say that clicks!
Cool. I found out about NWO 30 years ago. The plan is falling in to place. The USA is the last chance to stop it.
