Rally to support Egyptian people is scheduled for Super Bowl Sunday

Thursday, February 3, 2011

The Muslim American Society of Dallas/Ft. Worth is hosting "Super Rally for Solidarity with the People of Egypt" from 2-6 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday. Organizers will stake out in a pretty visible spot: between Cowboys Stadium and the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, at the intersection of E Randol Mill Rd. & Legends Way.

But there will be so much traffic, you say! Ralliers can park at one of two places: Masjid Al-Salam at 500 Road to Six Flags West in Arlington; or Center Masjied at 1700 S. Center St. in Arlington. Organizers picked a location that would be well traveled. "There will be a lot of media attention, and we wanted to take advantage of that opportunity and get some attention to that issue," said Ahmed Hussein, who is involved with Irving chapter of the Muslim American Society of Dallas/Ft. Worth.

The Muslim American Society is rallying to support Egyptian people, who have faced riots and civil war because of their opposition to longtime Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.

"For a whole week the protests in Egypt were peaceful," the press release reads. "Now the Mubarak government is sending in thugs with weapons to wound and kill the voices who are opposing him. Journalists are being beaten and arrested to try to prevent the world from seeing. We cannot silently stand by and watch." The rally is not affiliated with last Sunday's rally at City Hall, though Hussein, an Irving resident, said his group also supported that rally.

Texas is turning into a real toilet. Thank open-border RINOs like Perry, Kay Bailey and Cornyn.

Watch the “Muslim” organizers as they are joined with the core (Bolshevik) leaders of the never-ending U.S. “anti-war” movement.

As usual, If these liberal meatheads get what they are asking for they can expect an “unexpected” surprise waiting for them.

You just reminded me...I was watching the news tonight and they had film of 0bama standing in front of a “Winning the Future” backdrop. I cannot believe that one got through without anyone in the administration noticing the obvious “WTF” connection. It’s like some low-brow comedy.

Well if they didn't pay $200 for a ticket (4 ticket min.) for outside standing room only... they won't be close to Jerry world... and parking ain't free either.

Go Pac.

Perhaps a bit of a counter-demonstration is in order. One in support of AMERICA and her interests.

Thanks but I’m really not into muslims or the muslim brotherhood. I really really prefer to keep my head attached to the rest of my body.

Masjid Al-Salam at 500 Road to Six Flags West in Arlington; or Center Masjied at 1700 S. Center St. in Arlington.

I was wondering about that map that shows terror organizations within the U.S., listing Al Qaeda in Arlington, Texas.

Mystery solved.

I think a counter demonstration is a good idea. But I was thinking along the lines of a massive pig roast.
