I spoke recently to an in-law who owns a Glock. He isn’t as knowledgeable as he should be. I pointed out the notion that as far as a Glock is concerned - the holster is the safety. He was somewhat puzzled. I suggested that he buy a thousand rounds and sign up for an NRA sanctioned pistol training course and practice till the 1k ammo runs out.
I know one person who sold his Glock and replaced it with a Springfield XD Tactical - the one with the thumb safety as well as the grip safety and mis-named ‘trigger safety’.
