God, I miss Ronald Reagan. He was my commander in chief for 8 of my 20 years of active duty. I had to endure stinking Jimmy Carter for 4, Papa Bush for 4, Nixon/Ford for 4. Thank God for Ronald Reagan. He made we military proud to be military again. The military we have today is directly because of Ronald Reagan. After Nam, with Carter, the military was nothing. We got spit on in airports, called baby killers, cursed. Today, our women and men get Hooah’s in airports. Thank you Gipper for what you did for the Red, White and Blue! I know you are with God today! I will see you again some day!!!

God, I miss Ronald Reagan. He was my commander in chief for 8 of my 20 years of active duty. I was blessed to be in the AF, eight years of which were when Reagan was at the helm. I'm sure you remember as I do the crushed sense of morale we in uniform felt during the miserable, dark Carter years... a condition lifted briskly away with the election and inauguration of President Reagan. Remember that "adults are in charge" feeling upon seeing Reagan recite the Oath of Office? What a great time!
