The government can't even give the dumb souped-up golf carts away
If the “I luv da planet” crowd would hurry up and start buying this garbage, I believe there is a good chance we might see gas at 25 cents a gallon again. LOL! I’m keeping my SUV. And I promise not to run over any of those extension cords.
That picture answers the question: What is that blue goo stuck in the tires of that tractor trailer?
The Obama administration is Lucy and the dealers are Charlie Brown. The $7,500 is the football. How frickin’ stupid is Charlie Brown?
Can I just take the $7,500 and then let the car get repo’d?
I laughed at your pic. I forgot about the Peel Trident. That was a tiny car.

The idea of such a large subsidy bugs the bejeebers out of me. Couple questions for anyone in the know:
1) What’s the business case for $7,500 of my tax dollars going towards my neighbor getting an electric car. What is exactly is the ROI / Payback period - or is this just to make libs feel all warm and fuzzy?
2) Since electricity rates vary across the country, where would this car make financial sense? Is it a very limited area? Do the weather conditions (such as snow) or terrain (mountains) mate to the cost/Kwh sweet spot (assuming one exists).
3) Can I get a all weather speakers installed so that I can play a recording of a 67 GTO with Tri-Power.
Congress needs to kill or defund all this green money crap.
Wait until all those batteries in them battery operated cars get cold & don’t start up. What’s next: retrofitting heaters for garages or warming blankets for the car batteries?
It's for the children, after all.
There, fixed it.

I do not believe that electric cars are not energy savers in the long run. In a few years the batteries have to be replaced. Also as the battery ages then it will start to not hold a charge as well. The energy will go into charging it, but that energy will also be lost just as the car sits idle. It is kind of like having an open gas tank where the gas is just evaporating. Energy from a battery also “Evaporates”. As the battery gets older than this is much more serious.
