Sarah Palin Blasts Obama's Handling of Egypt (Obama handing over Egypt to Muslim Brotherhood)
abc ^ | 2/6/2011 | SARA JUST

Sarah Palin blasted the Obama administration's handling of the Egypt crisis on Saturday in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network.

"This is that 3 a.m. White House phone call, and it seems for many of us trying to get that information from our leader in the White House, it seems that that call went right to the answering machine."

Palin's reference to a 3 a.m. phone call referred to the 2008 bruising primary battle between now-President Obama and now-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over responsiveness to unexpected foreign policy crises.

In the CBN interview, which was conducted Friday immediately following Palin's speech in honor of President Ronald Reagan's 100 birthday but aired Saturday night, the former Alaska governor questioned who might lead Egypt after President Hosni Mubarak if he were to resign.

....which GOP wannabee is consistently criticizing Obama?

Newt. I will qualify that by saying I just spent the last 9 days in Brazil with limited internet and TV news that was, for the most part, in Portuguese. When I came home two days ago it appeared that Newt was embroiled in some controversy over comments he made about how Obamalamadingdong was handling the situation in Egypt. The typical Liberal talking heads seemed to have their nickers in a bunch over it. Please note: This comment should in no way be interpreted as offering any support whatsoever in any way for the Newtster. Just an observation made by a travel weary mind......

When you stand up for “States Rights” it doesn’t mean that the results will always be what you wish. I believe in the right of people to decide their own destiny. I also believe that if their rights infringe on the country I swore an oath to defend, we maintain the right the right to nuke their ass back to the stone age.

Thanks. I love her response to the CPAC question. Also, I suppose I should not be surprised, but her entire Egypt answer is more thoughtful and coherent than the sentence or two that she’s been quoted on from it.

Do you know, does either her mom or dad have that odd speech pattern, whereby she adds a ‘there’ or a ‘that’ demonstrative determiner, as they call it grammatically, when it really doesn’t add to or clarify her statement? I wonder where she gets it. I guess it is harmless, but I think it may detract from her sounding authoritative and involved in specific issues.

You can't be serious. Does she support the dictator or not? Go check her Facebook and/or Twitter and let us know if she stands for democracy or if she is still waiting to see "who the players are".

I believe Sarah Palin places the interests of the United States first. Nothing wrong with that. It's called pragmatism.

She was quite clear, mature and coherent on it. If it is raving terrorists orchestrating this overthrow, she’s not for it. Democracy is fine as long as it is not done by and for such—and we need to be sure of who is behind the curtain before becoming cheerleaders for it all. She also suggested that Obama likely has better information on that than he has made public.

If you truly believe that the revolution in Egypt will turn out well, I have some oceanfront property in North Dakota that I’ll make you a great deal on.

There you go again. Now, not only is Sarah Palin a fool, she’s a dolt, she’s a coward. At least you answered my question as to who and what you are. Thanks for that.

So, you’re on the side of the masses who obviously want freedom, liberty and democracy. Uh huh. And any one who asks the question of just what are we going to get if the revolution succeeds, is a dolt. Because, well, we always have to be on the side of revolution. Or, WITH THE PEOPLE as you put it.

If there’s a dolt around, I submit it isn’t Sarah Palin for wanting answers. It’s those who attack her for anything she says just because they can. It’s those who stir dissension for dissension’s sake like yourself who are the jerks.

Egypt is a very murky and unresolved issue right now. We don’t know how it will work out, but the administration’s untimely call for Mubarek to step down is not a well thought out policy, for just the reason that Sarah Palin points out. WE DON’T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WE’LL GET, AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DESERVE ANSWERS. But all that be damned. After all, who are we to question the administration as you say...”This cowardly idiot sits back and just opposes whatever the administration does.” If that’s cowardly, I’ll take more of it, thank you.

f the USA would have started drilling 10 years ago, we could now tell the muslims to kiss our collective ass.

You are so correct! I been telling everyone I know this little fact. People have such short memories plus we are bombasted, can I say that?, with stupid news everyday it's hard for them, unlike us Freepers, to distinguish between the BS.

It's called pragmatism.

Nope, it's called cowardly indecision. You either back democracy or you don't. Leaders don't wait around to see, if they'll continue to back a 30-year reigning dictator. You either believe in democracy or you don't. Sarah gets paid for mouthing Democracy, Freedom, States Right etc., but when the revolution hits the streets, she wants,"to see who the players are"? Again, you either believe in Democracy or you don't.

If you don’t think Gov. Palin is for democrocy (and yes thats a small d) were off your rocker.

Obamah foreign policy:

Allies are Enemies, Enemies are Allies.

As Obamah the Snitch tells Russia of UK Nukes, Encourages his Muslim Brotherhood to take over Egypt, supports radical islamic jihad against Israel.

Seriously, seek help. You’re irrational.

She isn’t backing anybody. I’m with Sarah, let’s make sure we are not backing the radical islamists.

The only fool here is you.

Sarah is always touting "her" devotion to the founding fathers. Makes me wonder how much she really knows about them and how it influences her political philosophy. In all her rants I have never heard her make a statement that would support that devotion.

Maybe she should read George Washington's Farewell Address and study what he warned against foreign entanglements.

Reagan—”Tear Down This Wall!”.

Palin—”Let's See Who The Players Are”.

If you were in a revolution which statement would inspire you?

It seems like the ones here who compare Palin to Reagan on a parallel level, obviously never knew him or her very well.

There is no comparison. Absolutely none.......

The Russians and Germans, and Czechs and... didn't have a muslim brotherhood bent on creating a muslim caliphate overshadowing their desire for freedom. Reagan also was President at the time when he made that call; Sarah Palin isn't. Reagan, as well, had a relationship with Gorbachev, Obama has no relationship with Mubarak; just the opposite in fact. Your comparison is a poor one, just like everything else you've written today.

The only tool, the only fool, is you.
