Sometimes its the questions you dont ask that are telling. Case in point: the New York Times account of our event with Governor Palin last night.
Young Americas Foundation hosted Governor Sarah Palin for the keynote address at the opening banquet of our Reagan 100 weekend. This weekend marks the 100th anniversary of Ronald Reagans birth. Celebrations are taking place across the country, but this is a particularly significant weekend for our organizationsince the spring of 1998 weve been preserving Ronald Reagans beloved Ranch home in the mountains north of Santa Barbara, Rancho del Cielo. Today Ronald Reagans Western White House is a place where young people come to be inspired by the life, the ideas, the character of Ronald Reagan.
And Governor Palin visited the Ranch for exactly the same reason.

Forget the minutia of event planning, though. The Times account is simply not accurate. Heres the amazing thing about yesterdays events: they were as much about Gov. Palin coming to Santa Barbara to soak up the spirit of Ronald Reagan as they were about her delivering a keynote address. And on top of that, she was incredibly gracious with her time.

Ping!
What a beautiful picture.
She is gorgeous!!! Is that all HER hair???? Im so jealous
Tks Al. So much for that POS report by the NY Slimes.
Nice pic too!
I did notice that the Times piece tried to make her out as distant and out of touch because she didn’t schmooze from table to table after her speech. They went out of their way, however, not to provide the background that was clearly announced: Palin was instead patiently having her picture taken with each and every guest from all three rooms of attendees at the event.
Thanks for the ping you two. It would have been nice. :)
Thank for posting that pic. It’s brightened my morning.
This will make a fine campaign poster some day...
Beautiful pic of Sarah Ping!
Very nice, but the small towns of rural northern Illinois where his life is preserved and cherished are the actual “Reagan Country”.
Welcome to the source of so much PDS in Left-leaning circles: jealousy.
Sarah's looks, hair, figure (w/o surgery), husband, popularity, fame, fortune, family, potential to be the next President and reverse Barry's destruction.
After reading the article anyone that still thinks this woman will not be able to do retail politics is sadly mistaken. she will own IA and NH if she chooses to run.
I’ve been to the Reagan Library and everyone needs to go there.
Just an amazingly beautiful place and his grave site is one of peaceful repose.
It was also fun to go through Air Force 1 and a replica of The Oval Office.
That photo of her on the ridgeline. wow,,,
Our next president is a “hottie”! Wow! (((ping)))
I was there in 2004 shortly after Reagan’s funeral when they were constructing the AF1 exhibit....an amazing, inspiring place.
Looking forward to going back soon and spending more time there.
Exactly my reaction! I called my wife over to look at it, and she had the same reaction (of course, she saw the pretty horse first :).
I think this pic would make great campaign material- and it's noticeable that those boots aren't new, as well- important to us country types :)
Has she ever taken a bad picture?
She’ll have world leaders eating out of her hand.
