Filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon, director of several films on Ronald Reagan, was present throughout the Governors trip. Throughout the day, Steve told me, whether it was Ranch hands, students, staff, or donors, it was obvious to me that Governor Palin was there not for herself but to give of herself. She epitomized the values she mentioned in her speechthose of duty and service she equated to our grandparents generation. Thanks for the ping! This paragraph sums up several reasons why I like Sarah Palin for president. She is genuinely one of us and like Reagan, she has a servant's heart. Sarah is common folk being called upon to do uncommon deeds.

(to undo the damage the "intellectual elites" have done. . . . . Sarah Palin for President!)

Governor Palin went out of the way in her speech to not lay claim to the mantle of Ronald Reagan. Many people today are looking for the next Reagan. But he was one of a kind, and we wont see his like again, she said later in her speech, but its his principles and values to which we must lay claim.
She is one of a kind. She is our shining light on the hill.
I love this pic, too.
