William is politically outspoken. He’s an unusually odd sort of gent, but I can certainly let him spout on about what he feels people should be doing, and what they should be thinking. I mean, isn’t that a bit what we do ?
Artistically he is considered “Transhumanist”, which makes all sorts of Illuminati and conspiracy buffs start to foam at the mouth.

Is this pro or anti Obama ? Recall that people who were once Pro-Obama are now switching sides - Often apologising for the mistake. Celebrities who change their opinion from the Left aren’t heard from again - and certainly their now anti-sentiments aren’t published on page 1.

Now, because it’s William singing it - Are we to assume this is pro or anti Bush ?
We tend to feel it’s Anti-Bush, because we are conditioned to interpretting all around us as an attempt to offend. We’re too on the defensive. I heard something not-so-offensive in that lyric, I heard an artist who prefers to leave behind him his humanity (shedding the soul, all that good stuff which we could write tomes on ... at some other time) finally calling out to Obama, the man that has actually been called “Messiah” by agents of popularity.
I think it would be great if they would just sing. Keep the politics off the field - But I also don’t immediately translate as an afront to the Right.
How many times do you have to let the NFL disgrace America during half-time before you just change the channel during half-time?
It is hard enough to watch them destroy the national anthem (including wearing ALL RED flag) and to watch these players disrespecting the very thing that has allowed them to earn millions, etc...
But you have a choice during half-time...watch something else.

One thing for certain, no matter how bad the show, how lame the singing, how stupid the costumes, they are now millions of dollars richer than they were.
I don’t care for the BEPs but this is the same guy who punched Parez Hilton in the face so I will give him a thumbs up for that.
They should just stop trying to sing though. Hurts my ears.
