Ron Paul Supporters Walk Out of Rumsfeld Tribute
Fox News ^ | February 10, 2011

Posted on 02/10/2011 2:16:35 PM PST by speciallybland

A steady stream of Texas Rep. Ron Paul's supporters walked out of a planned tribute for Donald Rumsfeld at CPAC Thursday afternoon. The walk-out had been planned ahead of time in part by Campaign for Liberty organizers and it seemed to be supported by more than 100 CPAC attendees.

The former defense secretary was also booed when took to the stage. There seemed to be a back-and-forth between Paul supporters and other CPAC attendees trying to drown each other out while Rumsfeld watched.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney then took the stage, but the heckling did not stop in what was an amazing display of friction. Someone in the crowd yelled to Cheney above the din "draft dodger." Nonetheless, the crowd is overwhelmingly warm to Rumsfeld, who eventually took his place in the presentation.

>>When does a Paulhriod fight for freedom? When the foreign forces are actually inside our borders?

They already are!
What in Chaos’s name do you think “Sanctuary Cities” are?

I was a libertarian party supporter thru the 1980s and watched the maggots take over.

The Libertarian party did seminal research on private property and revived that part of our Constitution. Then the white flag surrender moneys, porno freaks, 50 IQ potheads and commies took over.

You will not see the Libertarian party push a private property platform anymore because it’s at loggerheads with the Marxist/fascist libertarian faction.

And for all you pseudo-foot ameba-libertarians here on FR, dial this up on your sniveling Marxist screen:

On 9-11, our private property was attacked. The normal and correct reponse of a real libertarian should be: let’s go kick some arab ass.

But nooooooo.

Here’s the idiot Ron Paul: OH, GAWD!!! What did we do wrong to piss off a bunch of goat-humping sand monkeys. Let’s surrender!!

I’m not pleased that Thomas Jefferson’s liberty party has been taken over by cowards, rats, worms and arab butt sniffing c*cks#ckers.

Go to a dog vet and get yourselves fixed so you don’t reproduce.

Reagan was right — true conservatism is a three-legged stool. Defense, strong moral values, and classic economic liberalism.

Without all three legs, the stool falls.

Some friends had been telling me I should look at Ron Paul as a serious candidate. I was beginning to do so. But if this behavior by the people who back and promote him is an indication of who he is, to quote a line from Broken Arrow, 'I walk away'. I don't think I'm the only one.

They bus them in. They did it last year, and I figured they’d do it again this year.

foreign forces?

When Ron Paul stated that "we could defend this country with two submarines", as a Libertarian, you know he was not talking about "Lupe the painter", he was talking about armed conflict with a foreign enemy. Yes, Ron Paul said just that, but no sane or rational person should be surprised.

Libertarians by nature support sanctuary cities and open borders. Maybe a few don't, but they are an exception. Like Illegal aliens, Paulhroids are more of a problem than help.

I like Ron Paul, but I don’t understand why anybody would hate on Rumsfeld. After all, he’s limited to implementing his boss’ wishes, which he did flawlessly. As a soldier in the Army, it’s Gates that I can’t stand being subordinate to.

Don’t take the actions of a few to paint a picture of the whole. In that case, we gun owners would have to stand behind the idiots who showed up to political rallies with their assualt rifles strapped to their backs. That’s a trick the lame stream media plays: find the nutcases to paint a false picture of the whole crowd.

"Geez, do they have the interwebs where you live?"

interwebs, is that term still in use in your community college? Usually sophomores shed it in their second semester.

Ron Paul's military service is appreciated. However, it's all tainted now by his gross and irresponsible statements he has made about this nation and it's foreign policy. Firstly, his statements, and the associations he gleefully accepts puts him closer to Iran's Nutmenajob than to Reagan IMO. On his voting record, I'd have to see it to believe it, and judge how it's measured. My Congressman is basically just like Ron Paul, but is not crazy and doesn't blame America for jihadists. I'd put my Congresscritter up against Ron Paul any day. There's no reason to be crazy AND a strict constitutionalists.

Did Ron Paul get to vote on...

Is America is to blame for every crazed Islamist on earth?
Paul would vote yes

Can America be defended by two submarines?
Paul would vote yes

Should America pull all troops IMMEDIATELY from all foreign soil?
Paul would vote yes

Should there be a full investigation as to if the George Bush administration willingly committed murder on over 3000 US citizens?
Paul would vote yes.

Is Cindy Sheehan sexy?
Ron Paul would drool and vote yes (Paul appeared with Cindy Sheehan on the Alex Jones Show)

You know who Alex Jones is right? Ron Paul's buddy!

Ah, but you focus on his bull SH1t about being a Constitutionalists while he hangs out with Anti-Semites and takes pork from taxpayers in the form of earmarks.

Paulrhoids are very good at using the "interweb". They use it to spam polls with artificial numbers of support.

Paul *also* proposed issuing Letters of Mark and Reprisal rather than embarking in a costly and by-its-nature-unwinnable* War on Terror.
It was quite an elegant solution, IMO, to several of the main selling-points used to justify the War on Terror.

Furthermore, having “a few ships and no real active-duty army” would be far more in-line with the Constitution; remember that the appropriations for the Army are limited to two years. Also, prior to WWII there was no active-army (”old west” armies were, in fact, drawn from the States and funded/commissioned for a specific purpose).

* Like the “War on Drugs” there is no ‘victory Condition’ and it is therefore NOT winnable.

>Libertarians by nature support sanctuary cities and open borders. Maybe a few don’t, but they are an exception.

Where do you hang out? I know several libertarians and of them all when the subject of illegal aliens comes up they’re certainly *not* for non-enforcement of the laws regarding immigration.

>Like Illegal aliens, Paulhroids are more of a problem than help.

Really?
Do you *really* believe that?
Because I certainly don’t; I think what the problem is can be illustrated by the general non-comment of the 9/12 gathering, the NY-23 fiasco, and the signs on courthouses that say “no weapons allowed.” {ie the “public-servants” not listening when their masters speak, the “public-servants” showing an elitist disdan for the people their job is to represent, and the general “the law doesn’t apply to me” attitude that judges have.}

The problem now is that ‘defense’ is so horridly screwed up that to fund it is equivalent to abandoning both moral values AND classic economic liberalism.

The DoD has LOST hundreds of billions of dollars, not “oh, we put those in a secret project” but lost as in “there’s no way in hell an auditor will find where the money went.”

Government contractors in general can put off getting data/objects to another location for WEEKS and then, suddenly because of the “MUST HAVE” nature of the item and the project’s deadline, throw it all together in an overnight package. {True stories, my friend was irked greatly because of the delay-until-we-HAVE-to-overnight-it waste of time and money.}

As it is, I don’t see a good reason why we shouldn’t take the responsibility of self defense upon ourselves, as Citizens of the several States, and disband the DoD, Active duty Army, NASA, etc... If they *really* are needful then we can re-found them, and in so doing reduce the bureaucratic mire/overhead that is bogging them down.

If we would do that, utterly scrap Social Security, and replace *ALL* tax law with a flat-rate of “10% of all monetary income, no waivers, exceptions, credits, breaks, or exemptions” then we could get out of our financial predicament in perhaps as little as 15 years.

If Ron and the Paulbots had their way, we’d have legal brothels in every community, 7-Elevens would be selling heroin, we’d have no allies overseas and there would be no such thing as Israel.

Look at the picture next to the word “Moonbat” in the dictionary, and it will be a Paulbot.

The Ron Paul nuts in action.

They remind me of Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Bahar! If you disagree with someone, just walk out. How immature! They are a reflection on Ron Paul...not Rumsfeld and Cheney.

Thanks!

So far, I've seen you lie about Ron Paul, and post on command.

Can you do any other simple tricks?
