Inside the Secret Service

The Presidential Protective Detail is the holiest of holies. Everything stops for the presidential motorcade . . . The prime minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was not so understanding. His motorcade was arriving at the Sheraton Hotel while a “POTUS Freeze” was in place. The Secret Service agent in charge of Erdogan’s detail asked him to wait until Obama’s motorcade had departed, but the Turkish prime minister did not heed the advice. He opened the door to his car, and armed Turkish agents began exiting the other vehicles in the motorcade. “Don’t do that!” the American detail leader shouted. But Erdogan’s entourage nonetheless approached Obama’s departure tent. An agent in the Presidential Protective Detail, having no idea who these foreign guys with guns were, yelled into his handheld mike, “Crash it! Crash the tent!” Within moments, a dozen agents were out of their cars in full sprint, guns drawn, and the Turks were forcibly detained.

The incident was over within 20 seconds, but the Turkish delegation was mightily offended. It canceled several events in New York, while the Secret Service and the State Department apologized and tried to smooth hurt egos. Although agents had done exactly what they were supposed to do, the service initiated a full review, and procedures were altered to ensure that presidential motorcades didn’t intersect with waiting dignitaries in the future.

LOL, guess they get briefed at the same place Panetta does.

Obama wouldn’t last 10 minutes without the SS protecting him.

I don’t understand what the problem was. Obama would have simply bowed before Erdogan and everything would have been over...

The Turks are lucky that their heads are still attached to their bodies.

Obama doesn’t need the secret service, he’s a community organizer.

IIRC President Reagan was exiting a hotel by a side entrance when he was shot. It seems like zer0 uses the front entrance, probably shutting it down for quite some time, every time he goes out, which is a lot considering date nights, basketball games, etc.

One of the many small factors that added up to GWB winning in 2000 was his use of the smallest possible airport when he was campaigning. Algore used to shut down the highway for hours between his "home" in Tennessee and the airport, infuriating lots of Tennessee voters. In general, conservatives are far more considerate of others than liberals, especially limousine liberals.

The secret service is doing what it is supposed to be doing, protecting the president, even if that president is a disputed one.

But look on the bright side, if the courts do side with the constitution on his eligibility to be president, the same secret service will just as happily detain him for running for president illegally.

Ping to Obama Ruination of the Secret Service.

We have a very serious problem now with the Secret Service and the Presidential protective detail. They see themselves personally loyal to Oama to the exclusion of the Constitution. This is a typical fascist evolution. In Raliegh North Carolina during the campaign , residents were demonstrating against Obama whose cavalcade of vehicles sped through Raliegh in 2007 with his presidential candidate SS prtectivedetail. Reports said that the detail reaction to ordinary citizen peaceful protest lining the streets of downtown Raleigh was to brandish their fully automatic weapons out the lowered windows of their black SUVs, with the tailgate to the last SUV in trail lowered with a belt fed weapon extended out over the tail gate. This was done to cow the political opponents Obama had in Raleigh. This was among the first incidents of continuing SS gross misconduct.

This apparently has become Presidential Protective Detail standard procedure:

OBAMA SECRET SERVICE Pulls Guns On Conservative Tea Party Protesters In Bristol

The SS regularly cows local police departments when the president comes visiting and treats the police as an enemy of the president. This photo was taken in the summer of 2010, after Obama had dinner at a local Chicago Restaurant, in July I believe. Notice the SS agents hand and what it is doing.

Photobucket

I am very much afraid that the SS is not the usual SS.It has become an extension of the presidents fascist arm, and it is designed to cow the US public and Obama's political opponents. The SS now pursues Obama's political agenda, beyond doing its job of protecting the president. For that reason the SS should be highly suspect in any investigation it performs on members of the US public. The SS is now a liberal fascist organ, which has a very thuggish , unAmerican composition and activity. History shows us that other fascists like Obama have accomplished very much the same thing. Obama should be exposed and ridiculed for traducing what was a special and sometimes heroic service to every president. Now they are just another cadre of political thugs IMHO.We have come a long way from the days when a Washington blue suit cop took a bullet for the president, as in Reagan's case when Hinckley tried to assassinate Reagan.Cops are now not trusted by the SS.

As in this Turkish incident, the SS is continuously used as a political arm of the Obama administration used to cow those whom the president wishes to cow. This is typical of any fascist political leader.Obama is no different. This thread article is just spin, to keep people from knowing the truth.

Its really amazing how paranoid the Secret Service details are.

They are briefed, IMHO, that there will be a public backlash to Obama’s purposeful policy to disintegrate American society.

They are on edge.Their masters are paranoid.

It is a sign that the Obama Juntas policies are indeed being purposefully expected to make Americans violent.

Joe Bidens security detail has run over people in it is disregard for public safety. One citizen died.

It is clear that Obama does not support the 1st amendment rights of all Americans, or our right to freely assemble. That's fairly clear in the behavior of the Secret Service presidential protection detail. It is misconduct which sometimes rises to the level of gross misconduct. The subject Secret Service agents are not loyal to our constitution. They are loyal only to Obama. And they are a tragedy waiting to happen. One day they may very well open fire on crowds of innocent Americans.

Let’s contrast Hussein’s attitude towards Americans protesting his regime, and Egyptians protesting their regime.

Hussein supports the egyptians in their protests, and ignores, ridicules and threatens Americans who protest the forcing of socialism upon America.

He is for muslims and thugs, and against Americans.

Maybe he should be the new head of the egyptian government.

If WE protest, will HE step down? Not in a billion years. Yet that is just what he wanted Mubarack to do, step down due to protests. Rules for me and not for thee, eh Hussein? We did protest in great numbers against DeathCare and other things, and were ignored by a gov’t that does not represent us as they are sworn to do.

I remember at the time it happened the story Candor7 wrote about, where Hussein’s security brandished weapons at sign holders on his driving route. Let’s see if he gives up such power when he is voted out. He might prefer to stay in our White House until dragged out.
