Thousands of protesters gathered in Yemen's capital, Sana'a, Saturday to celebrate the resignation of Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak and call for their own president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, to step down.
The protesters began marching toward the Egyptian embassy but were confronted and pushed back by a group of men armed with sticks. There were conflicting reports as to whether the armed men were police or government supporters.
The gathering points for Saturday's protests were Sana'a University and the city's Tahrir Square, which bears the same name as the rallying point for the protests in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Fresh from a successful engagement in Egypt
Egypt, say hello to your future.
Only 24 hours and phase two kicks in. (of 15 phases)
It will be over as soon as it time to chew their daily dose of khat/qut
They’re having a “day of rage” protest in Algiers today as well. Incidentally, the day of rage name was used first by the Weathermen and SDS in the 60s (Chicago 69)

Demonstrators defy ban, gathering in center of Algiers, chanting 'Bouteflika out' in reference to Algerian President BouteflikaThe unrest in Algeria builds on a wave of anti-government demonstrations in the Middle East and North Africa, and comes just one day after Egypt's uprising forced Hosni Mubarak to resign from the presidency after 30 years in power...."
And no coincidence, whatsoever, use of the term “day of rage,” either.
Just do a search for Day of Rage combined with names of various mideast nations. Virtually all of them have protests planned.
Syria seems to be getting a pass but the islamosocialist Ba’ath party has a fair amount of control there.
I think there’s a day of rage protest planned for Bahrain on the 14th.
Greetings cripplecreek:
Freedom is in greater jeopardy today than I ever imagined it could be with B. Hussein 0bama as our President. Screwing our allies while emboldening our enemies has become the norm.
Never so worried about our Nation’s future as I am now,

Short memories. The Armed Islamic Group killed tens of thousands of people only 15 years ago before the Bouteflika government suppressed them.
I am here in Bahrain. These people are too lazy to do anything like Egypt.
OK sure.
These people are too lazy to do anything like Egypt.
Hoping you're correct. Unfortunately, I seriously doubt it. Even during the '91 Gulf War, the Islam-Marxist conspirators were very active in Bahrain.
Cheers,
OLA
Yep these protests consist largely of people too lazy to do anything other than make demands.
