While House Republicans are working hard on legislation to deprive Barack Obama of the money he needs to implement his massive health-care program, there is a way they can accomplish the same ends without a single Democrat vote and no approval by the Senate or White House, says the organizer of the "No More Red Ink" campaign.
"It's just this simple," says Joseph Farah of WND and the campaign targeting House Republicans alone to freeze the debt limit. "Republicans alone can do this. They are holding all the cards. They simply need to vote no as a bloc on raising the debt limit. At that point, the funding to implement 'Obamacare' dries up on the vine."
The campaign has already delivered 250,000 "red ink" letters to 242 House Republicans, encouraging them to defy their leadership and bring government spending and borrowing under control this year.
Shock the Washington establishment by participating in the "No More Red Ink" campaign and shut down all new plans for bailouts, "stimulus" spending and even the funding for Obamacare.
"Most people have still not figured out just how much power the Republicans have on this issue with control of just the House of Representatives," said Farah. "For some reason, House Republican leadership is determined to defy popular will and the better instincts of its own caucus to continue business-as-usual spending and borrowing in Washington. But this campaign is making a difference."
Two weeks ago, the organizer of the long-shot campaign to freeze the federal government's debt limit was not optimistic about his chances to create the biggest political earthquake to hit the nation's Capitol since Ronald Reagan's election as president.

"I want Nancy and Harry to luv me."
For instance, the only time I ever hear anything from my Congressman is when he wants my money.
I send him this instead:
.
Others who just talk and never fight, I send them this:
Where's the money? The Beast needs money!"
We're in the fight for the life of America, and you want to compromise with the enemy? Neville Chamberlain did that, and look what happened in Europe.
Americans win... bad guys lose.
Sorry, you're off by one zero. It should be dropped 100 billion per year until the deficit is ZERO.
Republicans never figure the biggest weapon Democrats’ wield is ridicule. They use it to oppress. They secretly pass oppressive laws, put a happy face on it and then ridicule those who object. Somebody’s just going to have to stand up and take the heat and the pain. It’s hard to be called a Nazi, racist, murderer and so forth. But someone in Congress has to stand up.
I don't see it as compromise as a two year plan to get where we need to be. We did not screw this thing up overnight, and it will likely take at least a couple of years to fix it. That said, I can appreciate your position.
“Something to do with rules and the part that Nazi Pelosi put in about future Congresses not being allowed to cut funding to the bill.”
Impossible. There is no such thing as an omnipotent congress that can write plenary laws. Congress is a sovereign body. Congress can change any law passed by a previous congress. It’s why we have elections - so a new congress can change directions of a previous congress.
All they have to do is task the CIA to expose Obama’s citizenship status....
When you're thinking in terms of the budget these days, the amounts involved in these liberal propaganda arms, just really isn't all that much. However, the symbolic value of ripping them out root and branch is quite significant which makes it worthwhile to me.
The supreme Court has ruled quite specifically that no congress can bind the actions of any future congress. If they are trotting out that nonsense, someone is trying to blow smoke and confuse the issue.
