Police say a man acted in self-defense on Saturday when he shot and killed a Wilmington resident who barged into an Elkton apartment with an alleged accomplice and tried to rob the occupants.
Investigators identified the shooting victim as Daniel Carter, 19, a Wilmington resident. Carter was pronounced dead inside the apartment building in the 100 block of Stockton Street.
If I read the article correctly, the paper needs a new headline writer.
What did the article say? I didn’t register to read it.
A Wilmington man (two) invaded a home in Elkton and the homeowner shot the Wilmington man.
And the home invasion was in Elkton MD (not DE)
What happened to perp #2?
Stockton street runs behind the National Guard Armory. The “apartment buildings” referred to look like they are residential buildings converted into apartments.
The perp would have had to travel some distance to perform this act. Wilmington is about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes away, depending on traffic.
I’m betting the perps knew the victims.
