MADISON, Wis. Authorities say an estimated 25,000 people are protesting anti-union legislation at the Wisconsin state Capitol, and nine demonstrators have been arrested.
On the third day of protests, the Statehouse was completely jammed with protesters opposed to a bill that would strip public employees of their collective bargaining rights. The crowd filled the building's hallways, sat cross-legged across the floor and chanted slogans.
For the moment, a group of Democratic senators have blocked the bill by refusing to attend a midday vote and leaving the Capitol. The sergeant at arms was looking for them.
One member of the group told The Associated Press that they had all left Wisconsin in an effort to force Republicans to negotiate.
Republicans hold a 19-14 majority, but they need at least one Democrat to be present before voting.

People are being bussed in from all over the place, including from outside of Wisconsin.
I am a teacher and union representative. I work hard teaching kids about how they are victims of race, sex, economics - you name it. I teach them class-envy and how to question and doubt everything about America, especially the Constitution. Moreover, I must do this hard work 7 hours a day (except for lunch hour), 186 days a year, with 10 sick days. Who can handle such conditions?
I admit some of our Leftist ideas are so wacky, so out of the 19th Century, even these gullible kids don’t believe them. As you can imagine, turning bright kids into dull, Democrat adult voters is indeed a hard job. For the guaranteed pay and life-time pensions we receive, I sometimes doubt that it is worth it.
the counter protesters have to be at work so they can pay the taxes to feed these parasites
Egyptian wanna-be types.
You think those of us in the private sector have it any easier?
Cowards.
Texas Dems did the same thing a while back.
They are like juveniles.
Bu then so is their constituency..............
You are correct and I say need a raise! ;-)
If they were Republicans protesting, they’d report it as “about a hundred people.”
Democrats — COWARDS

Exactly Right !!
Notice how the lame stream is making such a big deal of this. So far it’s been a few thousand protesters, most of them on the take.
You don’t hear much about it when 100,000 people show up in DC to protest Roe v Wade on the anniversary of the decision.
Explains a lot...
Heh....
I got $5 that says 70% don’t catch on.
Greece? Wisconsin? France? Wisconsin?
Any difference? Nope. This is just what socialist do.
The biggest question I have is, When, Who, Why was ANY government employee allowed to unionize?
The Tea Party’s massed to ask for smaller government, lower taxes, more personal responsibility.
These “teachers” massed to ask for larger government, higher taxes, less individual responsibility.
Whose side would you rather be on? :)
(The Press is actively for the teachers.)

No kidding this is real..
“The Democratic National Committee’s Organizing for America arm — the remnant of the 2008 Obama campaign — is playing an active role in organizing protests against Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s attempt to strip most public employees of collective bargaining rights.”
