I easily predicted 2 years ago the birth thing would never be embraced by mainstream Republicans/Mainstream conservatives , not Coulter nor Palin nor FNC nor Beck. It’s a political loser.

Polls indicate that over 50 percent of Republicans are birthers. Up from 1/3 a year ago.
I predict that 75 percent will be birthers in just a few months from now. Only idiots like Bill O’Reilly are ignorant enough to swallow what Obama is selling. But then - who considers BOR to be a conservative?

Why would she question either? There’s no doubt that he wasn’t born here and no doubt that he’s not a Christian. I don’t question it either.
Not wanting to get into a fight over two candidates who would both be a heckuva lot better than what’s in the White House right now... but I need to take up the statement that “It’s not her job as a possible candidate to personally verify another politician’s birth certificate.”
According to our courts, the 2nd-place candidate for POTUS is the only person in the whole world that can ever do that. In their view, it is nobody else’s business because they aren’t particularly harmed by having their Constitution trampled and their country subject to whatever country can blackmail our ineligible POTUS. It’s just our national security; nothing big. (gag)
Anybody who wants to get elected will be butchered by the press if they take up the issue, and yet the courts say the politically-vulnerable are the only people who can do this. IOW, the courts are giving the media all the power in the world.
We need every state to pass a ballot initiative granting legal standing, with full subpoena rights, to any registered voter who challenges someone whose name is on the state ballot before the candidate takes office.
I am so sick of these scared politicians and crooked media people, and so sick of the way they buzz like gnats in our eyes trying to divide us over strategies. We need to bypass all of the crap-mongers and go straight to we the people - the only ones who don’t give a rip what the media says about us and therefore the only people free to be honest and actually protect this nation and her Constitution.
The whole process sucks. Period. Screw it. Let’s just go straight to the people who had the sense to speak loudly and clearly in the last election - and were promptly put down, overlooked, and now ridiculed by the putrid media and the politicians who need to sleep among those stench-riddled, pus-filled prostitutes.
There is no politician that we can trust on this issue. Until we the people totally decimate the stinkin’ corpse of a media the media will hold all the politicians hostage. We need to expose the media so badly that the whole society puts them on mute where they can scream, fuss, spit, and lie as loudly as they want and not damage the country at all. We can just laugh at how self-important they consider themselves while the nation has them on mute.
Has any other possible candidate for 2012 done as you wish?
For the record I have no idea where he was born, but I do KNOW he is NOT a Christian.

They would point blank tell Stephie that Hell No - Obama ain't no Christian and Hell No - he ain't qualified to be the president.
Let’s try this experiment:
TV guy: Lots of folks don’t believe the Holocaust ever happened. But Jewish groups and Ben Netanyahu insists it did. What do you say?
MB: It’s not my place to say.
TV Guy: But what do you believe?
MB: When the PM makes a statement, his words should stand on their own.
TV Guy: He’s been clear, I’m asking if you believe it?
MB: We should take the PM at his word.
TV: You can’t just sit there and declare the Holocaust happened?
MB: I’m her to talk about planting tulips.
What would be the result of such a conversation? Exactly. And that’s why the Media read it the way they did. Not like the palinistas looking for moral equivalence.
Ask yourself why this is a main lib talking point all at once. Ponder the reasons...... Obama wants this out there, or the left doesn’t know for sure.
My bet is his Presidency is such a complete failure they have nothing else to report. The MSM is responsible for this jackass.
She played it beautifully, because if it is revealed she can just comment on the facts. The left was going to use this as an anvil to pummel her with. She just took the hammer out of their hands. If the BC is found, she will sit back and let the work be done for her. Brilliant and discerning.
And as a result, Pence is now toast.
When we successfully educate more than half the base about obama’s record issues (not just the BC), this is the answer any serious candidate HAS to give.
BTW, “I don’t question” can be taken in at least two ways, including that she doesn’t question because she knows obastard is a fraud.
Bachmann’s statement (”take his word”) is a good trap if the BC and records ever do come out, too. Can be used to play the “American people didn’t question either and we were all betrayed” game.
The BC and record issues need to be led from the grassroots and state level until there is critical mass. Until then, it’s political suicide to unequivically go Birther.
PS I’m a Birther, and proudly so. But I’m not running for office. Yet.

Bachmann knows what she is doing. And if she was trying to throw the Biirthers under the bus, she failed miserably. The entire MSM is going with ‘Bachmann the birther’ stories. She’s not stupid.

I have more respect for Joseph Farah, Jerome Corsi, Jack Cashill and the other conservatives at WND who are not afraid of the birther issue, than I do the blow-hards at the Saudi News Network.
