Have you been to the grocery store lately? I shop weekly, using coupons, sales, etc to reduce our grocery bill. That box of oatmeal that use to cost .95 at the Navy Commissary was $1.99 last Tue. Prices on most items were up any where from .50 to a $1.00 per item.
Gas just hit $3.05 at the cut rate stations closest to our home.
Yes, a local woodworking school has basic blacksmithing classes every once in a while. I think I’ll sign up next time they offer it.
Good idea, that’ll be a great experience for you! I hope you enjoy it. I enjoyed the woodworking classes I just took and welding (to a lesser degree). I think learning is good for the soul, but I feel a lot better when I hear about bad circumstances. Knowing I can do something more for myself each time I learn a new skill is a very rewarding and satisfying feeling. Best of luck to you!
