Arkansas Bill to cut state benefits to illegal aliens

HB1292 THE BILL TO PROHIBIT ILLEGAL ALIENS FROM RECEIVING ANY STATE BENEFIT EXCEPT IN INSTANCES OF EMERGENCY OR WHEN LIFE-SAVING MEASURES ARE REQUIRED. So far, HB1292 is the special order of business for the House State Agencies and Government Affairs Committee, which meets at 9am on Wednesday February 23rd. We would like people who support the effort to reduce illegal immigration to voice their support for HB1292. You can show up in the Committee Room or stand around the State Capitol. You can make and bring signs, along as they don't have stakes or something that could be used as a "weapon". The Committee should meet for at least 1 1/2 hours, maybe longer.

We may not have as liberal Federal Judges, but we’ll still probably have lots of legal challenges. Even so, many illegal aliens will leave before even the first legal challenge is issued.

No way will this become law. The Rats control in Little Rock, at the best BBbrain will veto it when it gets to his desk. If it were to pass Tyson, Cargil, Butterball etc. would be forced to start insuring their work force. Not to mention all the problems the state would have with the empty public housing, left over food stamps, underemployed public health officials and the list goes on and on. Nope the RATs like just the way it is, it cost a lot of taxpayers money to buy the hispanic vote for the RATs.

For a while, that has been the case. Beebe has sabotaged an effort to make Arkansas exempt from Obamacare, a bill to keep us from having to fund abortions under Obamacare, a bill to require proof of citizenship, and has attempted to frame the political debate around the lie that a tax cut can't be afforded because it would cut a "service".

HB1002, a Capital Gains Tax Reduction Bill, almost got the same treatment, but heat from the public got it out of committee, and out of the House with a few votes to spare. HB1292 has several cosponsors and if it gets enough attention, we can get similar results.
