President Obama has been accused of having double standards after appealing for Americans to sacrifice their holidays just days before his wife and children went on a costly skiing trip.
First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha are said to be on a 'private family trip' to Colorado for Presidents' Day Weekend...
Although the Obamas will pay for a portion of the skiing trip, taxpayers will still shoulder many of the costs.
'I don't know whether to laugh or cry,' said one of the president's most outspoken critics, conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh. 'He's got the single largest deficit in the history of the country and he's trying to tell us that we really cut back here.'

I think Michelle has adapted very well to enjoying the good life. She’s got four years (or eight) to live a life of luxury, and she wants to make the most of it.
Can you imagine the reaction if Laura Bush, or any Republican first lady, took a separate luxury vacation, as the president stayed home? Michelle took a luxury vacation to Spain last year, and now if taking this separate luxury ski vacation. Yet the liberals will have zero to say about it, I’m sure.
But if an evil Republican did this, the MSM would be full of stories of luxury living while talking about record numbers of homeless and millions grappling with poverty.

Why sacrifice when you have the kind of money they have that they never earned. Reminds me of an old episode of CARTER COUNTRY. The black Sargeant pressured the Chief to hire a black cop. He finally hired him then had to fire him for incompetence later in the episode. The cop said “You’re just firing me ‘cause I’m black.”
The Chief responded, “No. I HIRED you ‘cause you’re black. I’m firing you ‘cause you’re a lousy cop.” I doubt that could be made today.
It won’t take much effort for her to get down the hill with her posterior and gravity at work.
How many Obama vacations have we had to pay for these last two miserable years?
Well, in the interest of factual accuracy, Laura Bush went on several foreign "vacations" without her husband. Just off the top of my head, I recall trip to Italy and an African safari, with both her daughters.
I'm sure if you looked at the travel itineraries of First Ladies going back to Teddy R, you'd see similar vacations.

Deep down inside, I think the Baraqqis know the party may well end in Jan 2013, so I expect them to milk the system full bore up to that point.

Back when Bush 41 was president, the MSM ran stories on a near daily about homelessness in America. But as soon as their boy Bill Clinton was elected the MSM stopped reporting on the homeless problem. The issue was clearly used as a weapon to defeat an incumbent Republican president.
Imagine, Obama and hypocrite in the same sentence.
