Chinese authorities moved quickly and with force to quash a pro-democracy 'Jasmine Revolution', believed to have been inspired by the recent uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa. More police than usual were scrambled to line the streets today, and there were a number of activists detained after online sites had organised staged protests in Beijing, Shanghai and 11 other major cities. Citizens were urged to shout: 'We want food, we want work, we want housing, we want fairness' - a slogan that highlights common complaints among ordinary Chinese.

Clue: Mubarak was a friends of the US, China is an enemy of the US. Obama only wants to get rid of leaders of countires friendly to the US.

I agree. A majority of Chinese live in poverty. The government only cares for the individual insofar as he is NOT joined by his fellows. Once those individual men and women recognize their power, their sheer numbers, and get that organized, the Chinese government will respond. Either the people will win or they will die.

The difference between the rich and the poor in china is massive. That disparity cannot continue with out some serious consequences.

I doubt whether this will go anywhere. The Chinese won’t hesitate to use whatever force is necessary to quell the protests. They’ll have ten police for every protestor.

That name “Jasmine Revolution” makes me wonder if Soros didn’t instigate this. He has been behind any number of revolutions, and he often uses that kind of symbolic color language. And occasionally, he even gets on the right side, as he did when the Republic of Georgia and Ukraine revolted against Russia.

Looks like 13 major cities intend now to demonstrate throughout China. The communication to charge up the people is coming from outside China.

With the push for demonstrations world wide I am beginning to think ....”this is a systematic orchestrated effort for worldwide unrest”..... Perfect setup for the G-20 to usher in their plans for one world governance in order to bring “peace” and “order” to an otherwise chaotic world.

If the government gets violent with you, SHOOT THE SUITS! Don’t waste time fighting cops; it just antagonizes people who should be on your side. Go after the leaders wherever you find them. If you don’t have firearms, edged weapons or blunt objects will do.

The number of families that run and profit from China Inc. is about 100 IIRC. Throw in the worst of local party leaders, corrupt bureaucrats, sadistic police officials, and .....

100,000 is a good start!

China has a history of oppressed peasants rising up in unison to overthrow corrupt, incompetent governments.
