My first impression too. But looking more carefully at the link, this is a “blog” article, and I doubt it actually got printed in the print edition.

“Open Primaries” mean that Democrats pick the worst (least conservative, most milqtoast) Republican candidate.
Apparently, the two of them had been somewhat distant the last couple of years. When Oprah asked Rosanne why she would be upset with her, Rosanne said it was because she thought Oprah would have backed Hillary for POTUS instead of Obama. Oprah quickly said that she was not offended because “she knew what she knew” (about Obama).
Then, as my jaw was dropping open, Rosanne said that she now believed that we had “right POTUS for this time” in our history. How two women could be so stupid I will never know!!! If they do not see what an abject failure he has been, they are truly living in a fantasy world!
