It’s unfortunate and tragic what happened to him as a kid... but why go public with it now?
Nobody really knew for sure what they were getting with Scott Brown but they knew damn well what they were getting with his opponent (whose name I've already forgotten).
At least in the case of Massachusetts, it was worth a risk. I don't think anybody expected Brown to be worse than whoever the RAT was that would've been elected.
But, in Egypt, there was (and still is) the chance that somebody worse than MuBarack will take over.
Again, it was one of those risk/reward situations.
This one just didn't pan out.

Rino Brown is a foul ball. He’s playing the sympathy angle to gain favor with the Mass. libs. Hopefully the T-Party will checkmate him.
Brown is as good we will get from MA. We’re not talking a bout a blue leaning state. We are talking about a Socialist Republic. The GOP should be thankful to have him and conservatives should befriend him and work on him in any way they can to get his support for their bills.
