Pretty much says it like it is.
I might add though that the people living there are still capable of redemption. I think of Said Mossa, currently imprisoned in Afghanistan after converting to Christianity from Islam. He will not recant. There are redeemable people there.
That is not to suggest that I think we can all just declare peace and get along. The culture there is indeed a culture of death and we should admit that.
Moose limbs (or what are left) will only silence when the rest of the world makes it stunningly unacceptable to follow the Koran’s instructions penned at the word of Mad Mo (Mo himself was illiterate).
If the decision to use force is made, the force must be overwhelming and brutal. Define the enemy and kill him. There are always collateral loses (the innocent) in war. Although regrettable, this should not be a factor in your decision to use force.
The four Americans murdered today would be alive if the pirates knew this was our policy. If a hostage has no value a pirate will not take them. If the pirates know that taking of a hostage will result in their immediate death, they will not take them.
Cry Havoc and Let Slip the Dogs of War.
I disagree with your observations, analysis and conclusions.
Had Logan and Cooper been Jews in Austria or Germany in 1938 or in Poland in 1940, no one would have come to their rescue and they would likely not have survived their beatings.
Do we describe those European countries as "having no understanding of what freedom or democracy entails. Theirs is a savage mentality, a culture of hatred and death"??
The fact that Egyptian civilians and soldiers came to Logans defence is a positive and hopeful sign.
I'm no fan of Islam or of the forms of repressive regimes it spawns, but it would seem to me that there are still a lot of good people in that society who could be instrumental in bringing about positive change.
Condemning an entire population is what the Nazis did with the Jews.
Huh? What Koran did you read? That's absurd.
