PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- An Oregon congressman said Tuesday that he accepted prescription drugs from a campaign contributor last October, around the same time members of his staff complained of his erratic behavior.
Rep. David Wu told The Oregonian in a written response to a query that he had left another kind of painkiller - one prescribed by his doctor for neck pain - in Washington.

Had to read half way through the article to find out hes a democrat. Not that we didnt know.... No kidding. If he had been a Republican, the title given to us by the press whores would have been:
"GOP Oregon congressman tells paper he took illegal painkiller. Should he resign?"

Painkillers don't make you sketch out to the point of having your staff wanting to commit you. Another lying Rat.
Here is what OR voted in as an elected official.

Oops, didn’t read the article before I posted. They did mention it near the bottom.
If Wu keeps acting this way, he will get reelected for life.

"Painkillers don't make you sketch out to the point of having your staff wanting to commit you." I don't know, I've been whacked out on scrip painkillers, they can get inside your head and make you do some goofy stuff after a few months. But this guy is a nut, you never saw me dressed up as Tony Tiger. I just laid on the floor in my bathroom and whined like a baby. Man, I am so glad that period of my life is behind me. Broken tibia and fibula, three surgeries, Ilizarov external fixator on my left leg after the screws on the plates started to fail. Bad days.

BTW, isn't taking a prescription drug without a prescription a federal offense? Can we expect the DEA to come knocking on Wu's door?
Ya, right.

Doesn’t this idiot realize that every time he opens his mouth he’s causing more problems for himself? He thinks he’s helping himself, but in reality is committing political suicide. Even though he’s from Portland, I think he’s toast.

That’s nothing. Portland’s mayor is openly gay and is also a sexual predator of teenaged boys. At least he is classy enough to have sex with him in a public bathroom. But since they can’t prove it was before the kids 18th birthday, this 40 something POS is still mayor. Why should Wu be any different?

Sad but true. What do you expect from a town with a motto like “keep Portland weird”?

Yep...there’s a book about that, too. I won’t waste my money on it, though. I gave up on Portland when I heard about the Church of Elvis, and Multnomah County was looking for a Klingon interpretor.
Portland is now where young people go to retire...
