Speaking of mexican troops. We have seen many threads around here about mexican troops operating across the southern border. We say “why is nobody doing anything about it”?

Perhaps the answer lies right here.

And I do not expect media or anyone else in government to tell the truth. We know they no longer(perhaps they never have) deal truthfully with the people.

Please check out #54.

Is it the same “old” treaty we didn’t know about signed on 02/14/2008?

Still very strange and disturbing!

I understand that however, I still fail to see how a Gen. can sign such an agreement.

Don’t get tripped up about the date. It is no better now in 2011 than it was in 2008.

Yes, the article posted even had the 2008 date.

It wasn’t a treaty. It is an agreement to circumvent the posse comitatus act.

If you read the article the agreement allows both governments to prepare to assist each other, but neither can cross the borders unless ordered and authorized through appropriate government channels. In other words at the time of the agreement...Bush would have had to authorize entry of Canadian troops, not some general.

Now we have 0bama to be concerned about. And 0bama and his goons are trying to push all the buttons.

It is simply to note that this is not new news. This was discussed at length quite a while back. It fell under the conspiracy ideas along with the FEMA camps.

Yep, 0b0z0 would use Canadian troops and blames Bush for it!

Maybe it is true. Do you know that it isn’t?

News flash. This is completely unconstitutional. The Constitution forbids foreign troops on US soil. I am going to a Townhall meeting tonight with my US rep and I was going to ask about his intention on the Debt ceiling issue but now I think I will yell about this.

They better not be sending any Hosers down South. We don’t take kindly to strangers. Not even a little bit.

Well, I’m glad that we’re all so positive about the outcomes. /sarc

What would you prefer? A welcome party for our new overlords?

No, but how about working on collaboration and solutions in the community instead of ballyhooing the negative state of affairs we’re facing? Complaining about the bitter end will only lead to a bitter end.

I would rather look at solutions for galvanizing my community against this sort of oppression than to be the next Chicken Little on a street corner with a sign reading “The end is nigh.” It might be, but that doesn’t mean we can’t go down fighting.

If someone comes for your gun and you shoot and kill one, the others will not be as enthusiastic when they get to the next house even if you are killed.

Really?! That really makes sense to you?

Wouldn't it more likely cement the "brothers in arms" to protect themselves from the civilians who were shooting AT THEM?

Look at Iraq/Afghanistan. Look at the Civil War. Family members on opposite sides.

We think the internet has opened doors and "shined the light" on the tyrants.

I think it has closed the door on the patriots by permanently "anonymizing" and isolating us at the flip of a switch while we pay to train our soldiers for house-to-house combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It’s scary to think how B0 could use this.

That's exactly what I've done. Plans. Neighbors.

If you have to "galvanize" a community, then it's not a community.

The reason I spout all the negativity that you dislike on these threads is to people who post nonsense about "spontaneous rebellion" that's "just around the corner" when the oppressors "finally step too far."

Those are exactly the people who COULD help us if they prepared now, but are in fact the very people the oppressors are counting on to sit back and wait till it's too late.

That's why I hold the chicken little sign now.

No, No, and NO. What on earth would possess you to think it would be fine for foreign troops to operate inside the US? This does seem to be an open door to declare a ‘civil emergency’ and use Canadian troops to get around the Posse Commitatus.

Our troops are ‘integrated’ for use OUTSIDE both countires, not to make use of them inside the respective countries.

We handle our own emergencies just fine, thank you. You may feel otherwise if you listened too much to the drive by media, regarding Katrina.

I do not dislike the negativity, Sam. Quite the contrary! I believe we have turned into a society of slovenly addicts. Addicted to our Internet, our cable TV, our smartphones and gadgets. We do not try anymore. Work does not count for anything. Money is simply swiping a plastic card. We are goners in the traditional sense. The old-school breed is dead or dying, and the youth, like me, are fighting an uphill battle. I THRIVE on the negative.

However, I am praying to God that something will start the wheels of change turning in our lives. I am praying that someone or something will bring America back to life. I will not be the first to fire a shot, but I will be the second. And if I die in the fusillade, I hope that my memory will bring about another generation willing to fight and die in the same manner. I will not live under the oppression of tyranny.

For invasions where a declaration of war has been issued and a nation in under attack, sure, we should be allies. For civil issues, I’ll not take a Canadian as anything but hostile.
