I sometimes wonder if the best (and perhaps only) option would be for a large American conservative population to migrate to a currently lightly populated country.

Andy Jackson was EXACTLY the same kind of unrestrained cronyist that Democratic officials are today, and a PERFECT symbol of the party.
The rise of false prophets and coldheartedness toward Biblical principles and values in the USA has been on the increase ever since Bible's were outlawed from schools and abortion was legalized.
There are so many false doctrines out there now it's unbelievable. Social justice, dominion theology, pluralism, false religions, cults; they are all taking their toll on the spiritual health of Christianity and yes, eventually after the Rapture takes place the worship of the Beast will commence.
But you know what, if for reason we aren't raptured and we have to endure and die for our faith, I'm right there in the front of the line. I won't compromise.

I believe many overlook the Wedding parable and the two Trumpet Blast which is not the same blast as in The Revelation. My personal belief is from Revelation chapter 4 we are not here. I say it because of the description of the 24 Elders robed and seated meaning judgment and reward has taken place for them. This occurs before the events of the tribulations begin. Any of the 24 could be someone alive today and at least one still living now could be considered a modern day John The Baptist or the third order of Elijah as JTB was the second one.
If not and we are to face the woes mentioned I pray for strength to endure. That's all any of us can do. We have to remember as much as Peter loved Christ his own fears overcame him. But I do believe if we are to face the Great Tribulation that Christ will be there with us just as He was in the furnace with Daniel's students. It will either be one of the two. Christ will not abandon those who He calls His own.
I was born 9 years after Israel's modern establishment as a state. What I've seen in my lifetime is astounding. I often call events of today Babel 2 except this time GOD's Plan for mans salvation will be there and in place. We'll be freed from our corrupt bodies and minds.
That was majority belief in this nation when I was a child. Many of the founders thought the same over 200 years ago.
I think we both agree, or lean towards, the Rapture as an actual event that will take place before the last seven years on this current age. The 2nd Coming indeed is when Jesus will set foot in bodily form after those seven years to defeat the anti-christ and the false prophet, throw Satan into the abyss and start a 1,000 reign on earth. Is that correct?
The 24 Elders are representative of the 12 Tribes of Israel and the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ, or so I've been told. I don't think it's spelled out specifically who they are, and I supposed we might never know who these elders are this side of eternity. But I don't feel any of them are alive today on the earth. I believe these entities to be of a supernatural origin, much like angels.
I think we agree about the trumpets. The trumpet blasts of Revelation are not the same trumpet blasts spoken of in 1st Corinthians 15:52 or 1st Thessalonians 4:16. Those two trumpets are trumpets of joy, whereas the trumpets in Revelations are trumpets of judgment. And I agree on your interpretation of Revelation 4. I wonder; could verse 1 where Jesus says, "Come up hither" be symbolic of the Rapture?
But, as you said, if we are misinterpreting the Bible and we end up facing life in the Tribulation, we will face it with resolve and a determination not to disappoint our Lord in any way. However, I am a believer in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture and I look forward to seeing Jesus in the air. I even had a dream about it once.

I know it...and have known it since about the second time I saw him on TV during the primaries. I ain’t all that smart, house come so many couldn’t see it? I think they willfully refused to see the horror staring them in their faces, many still refuse. There are a lot of Americans who are so sold on the idea of positive thinking that they absolutely will not even consider the idea that someone occupying the white house as an American president actually does not love America.

The megalomania started early, and then he later went on to maintain his “kingship”by selling cocaine in high school , and become a fudge packer, to make himself like Dr.Seus’s Yertle the Turtle.Obama became a VIP in his own mind by being a big man in high school, who sold dope and invoked fear in his ‘lesser’ fellow students. Too bad one of them didn’t wipe the floor with him and pound him within an inch of his life.I wonder how many lives Obama ruined through pushing drugs in high school?That pattern now naturally continues in the White Hut, one cannot build a palace out of a cess pool.
His sidewalk musing is interesting, one more sign of the underpinings of a tyrant who now must go.It will get very ugly, but the sooner he is figuratively under that sidewalk , the better.
