The Buffalo Beast blogger who prank-called Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker, falsely posing as billionaire David Koch, has written some edgy some may say offensive articles in the past. For the publication he edits, Ian Murphy has written such pieces as.... [edited for profanity]

I’m streaming the radio station too, heard this,Charlie is good, but says this will never be told in the media! Think I’ll send it to Rush & Drudge!
Obviously Murphy’s mom was a street tart.
How do you ‘falsely pretend’ to have something? Yikes.
“”Obviously Murphys mom was a street tart.””
Obviously, she didn’t love him enough! Poor baby.....
Who was that young conservative journo who posed as a Phone Repair Guy on Capitol Hill..?
He was arrested and charged with crimes, right?
And yet...we are expected to sort of blush here, and let the guy off.
This also happened with an elderly couple who intercepted and recorded a mobile phone call Newt Gingrich was making —they alleged they made the recording for historical purposes for their grandkids.
Neither did Murphy's mom.
They ended up paying a lot of money. Unfortunately they didn't die in prison so they're still around ~ but you're right, we don't hear of them much these days.
He’s POS nothing.
All he did was lie and deceive in order to lay a trap. If Gov. Walker had caught on, the tape would have been deleted and we’d never have heard anything about this.
When you don’t make a career of lying and spinning, you don’t have to remember which lie you told last. Gov. Walker said the same thing in private that he’s said in public.
This turd Murphy should be ignored.

This guy is disturbed and has some serious potential mental issues....
MSNBC: Meet the Leftist Who Prank Called Gov. Walker
After a liberal writer phoned in a prank call to the Wisconsin governors office, it would seem logical to condemn the juvenile trickery and blatant lack of respect for a statewide officeholder.

I found that article he wrote yesterday but didn’t feel good about posting it on here because of the bad language. He’s a disgusting piece of crap and I hope somehow the law can be brought down on him.
I think not recognizing the imposter actually speaks well for Governor Walker - if he were “in Koch’s pocket”, one would think he’d recognize Koch’s voice. What this REALLY says is his office does not have sufficient phone screening in place.

Reminds me of the call to Sarah Palin:
(AP) Sarah Palin has unwittingly taken a prank call from a Canadian comedian posing as French President Nicolas Sarkozy and told him she may make a good president in eight years.
“Governor Walker of Wisconsin actually addressed the call during a 20-minute press conference. He said, I take phone calls all the time. The bottom line is, the things I said are things I said publicly all along.
Why isn’t this guy prosecuted under Massachusetts wiretap law: Massachusetts Wiretapping Law
Massachusetts’s wiretapping law is a “two-party consent” law. Massachusetts makes it a crime to secretly record an in-person or telephone conversation without the consent of all parties to the conversation. See Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 272, § 99. If you are operating in Massachusetts, you should always get the consent of all parties before recording a telephone call or conversation, unless it is absolutely clear to everyone involved that you recording (i.e., it is not “secret”).
