I think you need to try a little harder to get your head in the game. This thread is about the fact that the Repubs are finally going to close down the Capitol building (maybe) to the rabble that has been sleeping in it for more than a week. And, they’re not so sure that they will close it completely.

The GOP HQ offices are blocks away from the Capitol and it has nothing to do with this story.

And, yes, the Repubs are acting like bozos and buffoons. They apparently can’t stand success. Just look at the idiotic things they have done this week. Mary Lazik allowed the runaway Dems to participate by phone in a committee hearing. The Repubs allowed the runaway Dems to vote via FAX on another bill - going so far as to make the vote a “paper” vote so they could participate.

The Repubs were finally going to pass some other legislation that supposedly was unrelated to finance and didn’t require a quorum (voter ID) and, oh, oops, realized that the bill had a financial component to it, that prevented passage without a quorum. duh

The Repubs in the Assembly passed the budget repair bill last Friday, but retracted the vote when the Dems started whining. You see what they got for it - 48 hours and counting of useless Dem whining and dozens of amendments.

They allowed the rabble to take over the Capitol building in the first place. And to put a cherry on top of the cake, the governor allowed himself to get pranked this week.

I don’t need to demoralize or undermine the GOP, they are doing a darned good job themselves.

And, you bet I have a right to gripe - the Repubs are going to lose this because they are timid and they don’t have any staying power and they are unprofessional. I worked for their election. I donated to their elections. I am a taxpayer.

Thank you for correcting me. I was reading two threads at the same time. Please let me rephrase what I said.
A bunch of liberal scum invade the GOP offices state capitol and you blame the GOP for being wimpy. As an example you cite an article that shows the GOP follows the rule of law. You and the libtards both demoralize and undermine the GOP. You are a real piece of work.
Better?

You say you know something about perception. Why do you obstinately kick the ankles of giants. Walker and the GOP majorities have shown the way to fiscal sanity to the rest of the states. Here is my perception. Letting the rats shut down the schools, and state government has produced a backlash you are seem unaware of. Shutting down the schools cost Joe Blow $500 in daycare or wages lost. Bused in union thugs and homeless people turn off the average guy. So has fraudulent doctor sick notes. So has fleebaggers yukking it up on comedy shows like the colbert report.
67% Disapprove of Legislators Fleeing Wisconsin to Avoid Vote I can't see why you are getting riled up about a phone meeting.

The Repubs allowed the runaway Dems to vote via FAX on another bill - going so far as to make the vote a “paper” vote so they could participate.

Evidently the state senate committee's rules allow a vote by fax but the bill to withhold the fleebaggers paychecks still won. Point GOP. You would rather they get a paycheck? The GOP has a majority on all committees. You presume that a vote delayed on GOP legislation is preferable to a faxed in passage. You are a bitching over nothing. We have the votes. We have popular support and it gets worse for the rats each day they stall. Walker is going to crush the unions when the fleebaggers return. That will be sooner than later.

The Repubs in the Assembly passed the budget repair bill last Friday, but retracted the vote when the Dems started whining. You see what they got for it - 48 hours and counting of useless Dem whining and dozens of amendments.

Walker has already convinced the taxpayers/voters he is right by letting the rats be rats. Letting them talk and giving where it makes no difference. Tomorrow he sends out layoff notices to 1500 state workers. Go Scott Go.

And, you bet I have a right to gripe - the Repubs are going to lose this because they are timid and they don’t have any staying power and they are unprofessional. I worked for their election. I donated to their elections. I am a taxpayer.

Thanx for donating and working for the GOP candidates. Thanx for paying your taxes. With those credentials I would have expected you to spend some time on this thread going after the bad guys(rats). We have the votes and Walker ain't gonna cave.
