WASHINGTON- A coalition of 34,000 black churches is blasting President Barack Obama's decision to stop defending the federal law that bans recognition of gay marriage.
The Rev. Anthony Evans, who heads the National Black Church Initiative, says Obama "has violated the Christian faith" by failing to uphold Jesus' teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman.
As a result, Evans says black churches must "reassess their extraordinary support for him."

Obama has decided he can RULE like a king. It doesn't matter to him what the law say's, even though he put his hand on a Bible and swore to uphold the laws of the United States.
Why be coy? Just say they won't support him anymore.
I still find it so funny that the same people who accuse just about everyone else of being racist are themselves the worst racists... supporting the president simply because he has the same skin color as they do. Talk about taking the idea of judging a man not by the color of his skin but the content of his character and throwing it out the window.
Finally, black people putting truth before skin color.

What Christian faith?
I’ve always said, with Obama, It’s not the “Audacity of Hope” but the Hope of Audacity... As Hitler once said, the bigger or audacious the lie, the more believable. I truly think Obama has taken that to heart...
Stand up, brothers, we need you.
Minorities for the most part are devout Catholics or Christians and revere marriage as a holy sacrament and view it as one of the monuments of their faith.
Obama, as I have always believed from day one, is an atheist and therefore has absolutely no religious scruples, principles or convictions ergo he has no moral anchors in his life by which to guide him and as such has abandoned the sanctity of marriage that so many of his race hold dear to their hearts.

The Christian faith is something that objectively exists whether Obummer participates in it or just says he does.
I believe this is the Dr. Tony Evans whose “Urban Alternative” radio show has been popular for years on many mainstream conservative evangelical stations. Whether the “ghetto” churches will pay attention to this is a big unknown.

It was actually (likely) Barry Soetoro who gave that oath. $h!t don’t stick to this guy. He’s like Teflon. I have not believed a word out of his mouth since the first days I’d heard him speak. I find it appalling that 53% voted for him and 40% reportedly still would.
Maybe Obama made an unconsidered step, or maybe this was coldly calculated. There still has to be a whale of a lot more black voters out there than gay voters, and the blacks typically don’t like the gays horning in on their corner on affirmative action.
UM....wonder when they’ll figure out where he stands on aborting a hefty percent of THEIR RACE????
He botched the first swearing in, did he not, and got a do-over in private. Are we sure we know what he put his hand on the second go round?
Call me skeptical on this one. I am well aware of Tony Evans and his ministry. I greatly respect him. It is just that I find it very hard to believe there are 34,000 Black Christians in our country who would take a stand against Obama, let alone 34,000 black churches. Although the nearly total idolatry of the man has decreased somewhat among Blacks, it is still happening on a grand scale. When a decision must be made about whether to support Christian convictions and principles or support a Democrat politician based on skin color alone, I am afraid that most Black church going Americans will not even think twice about their convictions. They will continue to support Obama no matter what he does.
Yet they keep voting Democrat?!
Isn’t it amazing that White Liberals love Blacks so much, they set up most of their planned parenthood (Infant Death Houses) in Black neighborhoods.
Just what did all the dumbsumbitches think he was going to do? Hey how about next time look past the color, people.YES,HE DID.
