Industry officials warn 7.3million American jobs will disappear if U.S. President Barack Obama's administration tightens regulations in a bid to reduce smog.
The industry-sponsored researcher who came up with the number cautioned, however, that there was uncertainty surrounding that number.
Although economist Don Norman pointed out: 'Even if the numbers are half of that, the number is huge.'

At first, I was going to say, that will cut down on smog, but then I thought it through and realized that to stay warm or to cook, all those unemployed would likely start burning everything they could get. There wouldn’t be any clean coal, if we can’t afford it. We will look like dirty, dingy China.
Also, look for the wildlife populations to be destroyed as people go out to find food for themselves and their families.

SMOG? I thought smog was whipped thirty five years ago when power plants were forced to put “scrubbers” on their units and US auto makers switched over from leaded gas to no lead gas!
Or is the Obama admin just looking for things to regulate!
